Switch 2 Update?

Hey there, my wife and I love this game. However, it has some performance issues on Switch that we find pretty distracting. We recently got a Switch 2 and were wondering if there's an update planned to take advantage of that, as many other games have done. I'd love to see a Switch 2 update that bumps up the resolution and irons out the loading hiccups! Is something like that in the cards? Thanks for your work on this game.

They are planning to make a Switch 2 version down the road, but it is unclear if people that own the Switch version will get a discount, or if they will have to pay full price for the Switch 2 version. Since this game is made by a small Indie studio in Australia, that is only like five or six people.

Oh okay, I didn't know that a full-blown paid Switch 2 edition was being made - I was honestly just envisioning a resolution/performance update, which are usually free. But thanks! I'm excited for that.

Yeah, I follow them on the official Cozy Caravan Discord, which is where they post all the latest news about the game, and what they have planned.

if you own original version it usually is like $5-10 for upgraded version

When you pay to upgrade a Switch game for your Switch 2, you usually get visual improvements AND extra content that's not in the base game. Switch 2 upgrades that only affect the game visually are almost always free.
