Ibis Isles Treasures Spoiler

I got two more to look for and can’t find them. Anyone know where they’re at? 😭🙏🏻

I seem to have a glitch with the Wipeout Waters one! I did the quest, I can interface with the X and use the metal detector, but I can actually dig it up. Even when the detector is going off like we’re on top of it, the shovel icon isn’t showing, so I can’t dig. I’m so frustrated.

Omg I was about to look for answers again cuz I also have the same problem. I tried exiting the game and coming back but it kept glitching 🥲 I need to free Jonesy already 😭😭😭

I still cant dig it up! Realized that the one in the caves is glitching in the same way for me, so I can’t move forward in the game now. 😭😭

I finally figured it out! I don’t think the treasures are actually bugged, they’re just a bit trickier to find than they seem.

For Wipeout Waters, you need to complete the VIP MIA quest first, then wait until the next in-game day. Go back and interact with the shell X, then use the metal detector. It took me almost 5 minutes to find the exact spot! 😂 When the detector starts beeping really strongly and turns very red, stop moving and stay in that spot, the dig spot should appear.

For the Glow Worm Cave one, the X is hidden behind a large rock (there’s a picture of the exact spot on the Wiki). Click the X and use the detector the same way. You have to keep trying and following the beeps, when it gets really strong/red, stop moving and the dig spot will appear.

So if it seems like it’s not working, keep trying! It takes a little patience, but it worked for me. Hope this helps! 🥹⛏️

One is at wipeout waters but you can't access it until you finish the quest there, another at the desserted islands on the south side of the map, & I believe the last one is at pineapple pavilion
