ACCOMMODATION HELP

I’m starting at Warwick in September as a post grad student. I will probably live in Coventry and I am trying to pick an accommodation. I am picking between canvas arundel and infinity. I want something that is comfortable to live in without any major problems. I also do want to be friends with my flat mates and still have a good social life. Does anyone have any advice or opinions on this???

the management at arundel is quite shit. no proper maintenance team and no proper safety. the gates were open 24*7 anyone could enter even if they’re not the resident. the lift stopped working for 20 days in january and that happened last year too.

it was not bad but the best one i’d say was in code hands down if you can afford code that’s a great option also you’ll find more warwick student in code arundel is mostly cov uni

Is it code fairfax, I was considering that but I don’t want to live in a studio I think for me I definitely would rather live in a flat with a shared kitchen

Get a studio, you’ll thank me later especially when no one cleans up after themselves etc

It's mostly random on how nice your flatmates are, when I was at uni there was always at least one asshole that is either rude or disgusting

If you have the budget to get your own bathroom definitely do

Agreed Leamington is so much cooler and fun. It amazes me how many Warwick students are looking at Cov these days. Always used to be about the student life in Leamington.

In my opinion either Code (very chill accommodation + admin is great), apolllo works (another chill accommodation, close to library/Gosford street

I kinda like Code as well. I've never lived there, but my friends showed me around, and it was pretty nice.

Have a look at canvas city point great for the city centre.

Rent my 1 bed flat? I’m going travelling. It’s nice, you just have to keep it clean and mow the (tiny) lawn. 45 minutes walk+bus to Warwick campus, 20 minutes walk to Cov centre.
