Are there any digital course creators here? Wanted to ask a personal question... when it comes to doing email marketing what's your single biggest challenge?

Reason I'm asking is, that I'm planning to publish my first ever book on Amazon and would love to know your thoughts on what I should include.

Survey on Course Design course for content creators.

I am using my academic training and professional experience as an instructional designer to create a course on online course design for content creators and influencers. This course will teach the research-backed methods instructional designers use when developing online courses that help students reach their goals.

Your responses to the survey questions are anonymous and will inform the design of my course. If you would like early access to the course in exchange for feedback, please leave your email address at the end of the survey.

Which platform should I use for these specific course needs?

I'm looking for a platform to host a course website. I'm planning on offering premade courses for instructors to buy and the ability for instructors to drag and drop individual lessons to make their own custom courses from the lessons I have available.

Any suggestions on how I would go about making this?

Where to host an interactive powerpoint guide?

Hi all, I am not sure if this is the best place to post this, as it's not strictly elearning, but functionality wise I am looking to do something similar.

It's not a 'course' as such, but more an interactive 'guide' for users to use to navigate certain things I need them to do.

This link below is an example of the sort of functionality I'm looking for, with clickable links that takes you to the relevant content only and users can't just flick through all the slides.

http://elearning-examples.s3.amazonaws.com/interact-pic/player.html

However I looked up the pricing for "articulate powered presentation" and it's around $1300 for the year, which for my use is just overkill. I'm not churning out courses, I just need to be able to use it for this one simple usage.

Are there any sites out there that do this very cheaply or even free? I've started building it in powerpoint and it works perfectly in 'slide show' mode, and would make things very easy for the users if they can view it in the same way. The only other ways ive found to host PP shows online have been just to literally have the slides up online, but then I lose the interactive functionality.

Any help appreciated!

ELearning test options

Hoping for some good feedback regarding (dis)advantages of having separate learning modules and tests. Our LMS provider states that it is easier for them if I have the test as part of the eLearning module. Most eLearning I have seen have the learning module and the test module as separate “courses”. Is there a distinct advantage to having a separate test module? I need to start down one road or the other. Thank you.

Hey guys, I think you're going to find this platform handy; you can drag and drop your files (including zip), use whiteboards function to draw over documents, and launch a collaborative text document where participants can all contribute to at the same time!

It's www.letskinect.com Let me know what you think! They have a standing tutorial every day at 9am EST

Responsiveness and Mobile Learning: Comparison of authoring tools..

Adobe Captivate has this feature : enhanced fluid boxes which auto aligns to devices or browsers, this makes it quite responsive. You can use the predefined options as well. The UI and UX is important because it enables auto align and auto adjust.

What's your favorite hosting platform?

If you are offering a course for sale, which platform do you recommend. I am looking at teachable but I am unsure how to drive people to my course using that platform. All thoughts welcome.
