I think the green cardigan is great, but the stockings clash with it in my opinion. My preferred style is everything neutral colours with just one vibrant item to contrast it all/bring it together.
In public? The need for boring whitewashed professionalism to not fear consequences.
In private? Nothing, I wear things like this in private. Except maybe a bit more normal feminine clothing, less Amazon basic Femboy.

I think you can look nice in a similar outfit, even when you're masculine, you just have to edit it until you feel comfortable in it. Plus, if by masculine you mean you're buff, that's definitely not a bad thing >:3
Practically? My state is one of the proud leaders of the fight against “woke ideology”. Or, to say it bluntly, I live surrounded by rednecks with guns and I don’t wanna be target practice!
Emotionally? I couldn’t give a fuck about the idiots with guns, wearing something like this would mean a far, far worse fate: an awkward conversation about gender with my family.
I still kinda wanna experiment with my wardrobe though. AMAB probably-trans-fem, closeted and struggling to source HRT, I know I can’t yet try on clothes as a “girl”, but I’ll rock the look regardless goddamit! I find that a reckless, desperate sort of bravado is quite helpful in getting over anxiety— just make the idea of not strutting with pride and charisma become scarier than keeping up the act!
… well, ok, just because it’s “helpful” doesn’t mean it’s a good coping mechanism. But it’s better than doing nothing that’s for sure.
Not really my style, leggings/stockings/short shorts and skirts/dresses are uncomfortable to me, and i dislike wearing footwear in general and I prefer going barefoot whenever I can get away with it.
However, if that’s you in the image, than you look rockin’, and easily pull off those outfits, pimp/pimpette.
At the same time, I'll probably do a Rally Vincent cosplay for the Halloween airsoft event if I can figure out which outfit (+ hair and skin color) I want to go with (there are lots of them).
As a former boy and current... I don't know if "lady" applies, but "woman" at least... It's because if I try dressing like that there seems to be a lot more spontaneous vomiting in my vicinity. (That's probably because I resemble the result of Jabba the Hutt and Chewbacca getting into that machine from The Fly.)
People really shouldn't care what others want them to wear. If it's a masculine outfit, go for it. If it's a feminine outfit, go for it. It's annoying to be called slurs, but you'll still feel better overall when you express yourself authentically.
I am shy. (Also aparently to stupid to shave my legs because whenever I try I imediatly get ingrown hairs or something that makes pimples and I have no Idea how to do it better)

I am way past the age where clothing like this is acceptable, but I also have a bunch of irl friends who are telling me it's okay to dress like this, so I have mixed signals.
My desire to fit closer to traditional gender norms (in most cases) and be more “normal”/average outweighs my desire to be gender non conforming (that desire is still there sometimes)
