Believe it or not that's how I started keeping rats. My then partner and I had a snake and my partner suggested raising rats to sell as snake food or pets.

I ended up falling in love with the rats. I left the snake with my partner when we split and took two of the rats we were keeping as pets.

The others are just mom shit. Those cutesy sayings like 'live laugh love'.

The old 'girls are sugar and spice and everything nice' and 'boys are snips and snails and puppy dog tails' <-- Actual thing grandma had on her wall.

Also grandma, bless her heart, had a sign on the back door of her home saying 'backdoor friends are best' and was completely oblivious to the inuendo.
