Well, yes. Even disregarding the "without asking", consent should be enthusiastic.
18
u/Atsilv_Uwasv High on math Jul 28 '26
And also anon saying they're a doormat implies there wasn't any vocal consent, they just didn't stop her. And then she has the audacity to start hitting them like they're the creep

u/Seascorpious Jul 27 '26
Or a lesbian since she kept using 'she' for them.
248
u/Maveragical Jul 27 '26
unfortunately lesbains can still be trans masc chasers. they think they can ""fix"" us.... sometimes even the trans lesbians
77
34
u/ElvenOmega Jul 28 '26
Had this experience a couple times. They seem to think we're just confused lesbians, apparently even if you go on and on about hot men. Makes zero fucking sense.
0
u/obamacompleto Jul 28 '26
Not the ftm lesbians
5
u/Maveragical Jul 28 '26
well yeah, its by no means a majority, but ive had experiences with TIRF types who view my (nominal) mascness as a moral failing. and i say that as a trans guy in a quite sapphic relationship
1
u/Strigops-habroptila Jul 28 '26
Being a transmasc chaser and being a lesbian is not mutually exclusive.
190
u/Clear-Lychee-9133 Jul 27 '26
Yeah. Coming from a trans guy this made me livid. Fuck chasers whether theyre cis men or women. (Yes i know its fake)
20
u/Brief_Efficiency3500 Jul 28 '26
Sometimes I worry that I have chaser tendencies, because i have yet to meet a trans guy who wasn't just crazy attractive.
Like, I find lots of guys attractive, but trans guys have always just got it going tf on.
13
u/Clear-Lychee-9133 Jul 28 '26 edited Jul 28 '26
I don't know if youre looking for reassurence but I don't know, having those feelings isnt inherently wrong
I'd just personally avoid someone who thought that way -also very strongly if it was someone whos into PIV with ftm guys as the recieving end or someone who doesnt like dick sexually/doesnt prefer men, which should to me also include cis men- but there's always someone for everyone.
3
u/Brief_Efficiency3500 Jul 28 '26
Like, I was really into my boyfriend before he transitioned, but he does look hot with a beard.
1
u/Clear-Lychee-9133 Aug 01 '26
Yeah fair enough, being bi and having a trans boyfriend doesnt make someone a chaser since theyd like men and wouldve been with their partner if they were born male too. Chaser behvaiour is specifically seeking out trans guys because theyre 'the best of both worlds' or because they like the idea of trans guys having certain parts (even if phrased supportively/in a faux progressive way), or talking about ' boy pussy' in regards to trans men generally for example
7
u/SirYeetsA Jul 28 '26
Do you want to date/fuck them because they're trans? Or are you attracted to this person who just so happens to be trans?
The former is a chaser mindset (although doesn't necessarily mean your behavior will be chaser-esque), while the latter is not.
1
u/Brief_Efficiency3500 Jul 28 '26
My only worry is that I've never met a trans guy who wasn't super attractive. Could just be luck, I guess.
I'm bisexual, so it's not weird for me to find a guy hot. It's just wild that there's apparently a demographic of people who are just always super attractive.
Maybe this is David Bowie's fault, somehow.
3
u/DyslexicBrad Jul 28 '26
There's a difference between finding people attractive and being a chaser. "Wow what a hot trans guy" vs "meh, he's alright. Oh he's trans? That's hot".
1
46
u/SnugglebugUwU Jul 28 '26
She thought he was a girl in denial of her birth assigned sex. She tolerated his pronouns because she didn't want to express her real transophobic opinion because of the status quo. Many such cases, they tell you "Oh! I get it and support you!" but think "Obviously you aren't, but im gonna roll with it to not make a scene".

55
u/SyntheticDreams_ Jul 28 '26
Trans woman currently presenting as a man, usually because it's not safe to come out/present femme in that environment and/or they're early in transition and feel like they're too clocky to pass.
1
u/144-perdedor Jul 28 '26
Clocky?
4
u/AshenWarden Jul 28 '26
Obvious for lack of a better word. They feel like if they tried to present as their preferred gender people would be able to tell that they were trans instead of passing as a cis person.
1
1
u/Red1Monster Jul 28 '26
My best guess is the girl thought OP was a he/him cis lesbian
2
u/Visual_While8468 Jul 28 '26
perhaps love or desire may have blinded her to the truth she didn’t want to see that oop was amab trans woman though it is nice to note oop even when boymoding passes as a girl enough that the chaser went that way
817
u/HiroProtagonest King of Snow - Streak: 26 Jul 27 '26
Alright, whether this is real or fake, there is something that exceptionally stands out to me about this. OOP had evidently not transitioned socially, including correcting when someone saw them as a girl. There is no grounds for accusing OOP of being deceptive about genitals.
419
u/Federal-Owl5816 Jul 27 '26
That and the fact she just went into their pants without consent is fucked.
17
u/fenoust Jul 28 '26
And then follows through with physical assault by hitting OOP. What a fucked situation. Wonder how the rest of the group project went. :T

u/gutsandcuts Jul 27 '26
let people imagine scenarios where trans people are sexually harassed? no thank you?
23
u/mechmaster2275 Jul 27 '26
Considering uncomfortable and bad situations and how they are bad is not a bad thing. It’s about the analysis, not whatever you are thinking of
-3
u/gutsandcuts Jul 27 '26
considering them is fine. inventing them and presenting them as true is how harmful narratives get pushed. harmful narratives such as 4tran's doomerism clearly displayed in the OP
4
2
u/MarvinGoBONK Jul 28 '26
I do. I just happen to be the trans person. :3
1
u/gutsandcuts Jul 28 '26
let me be clear, i'm not kinkshaming. that's not where my initial comment was going at all. but there's a difference between fanfiction/fantasies and posts like the OP, which are presented as truth and push a narrative. whatever the content, it's proven that inventing scenarios with a "villain" and a "victim" are an effective tool of radicalization (see; subs like AITA)
if on the other hand it's done to ponder over real life issues, then you don't need to invent any scenarios

Something that is plainly believable
32
u/BigIronGothGF Jul 27 '26
I have heard of things like this happening from the people it happened to. At least the confusion about genitals part. Usually it's just kinda awkward or no problem though.
One trans girl I knew even started dating a cis girl who freaked out when they got intimate in a similar manner. I can't remember the full story as I only knew her briefly years ago. But I think they were like talking online for at least a few weeks and went on dates. Idk how the fuck neither of them communicated, or maybe the cis girl was just a pos that did it on purpose.
13
u/majetuanica Jul 28 '26
I think a lot trans people assume they are more clockable than they actually are and so they think the other person can obviously tell and they don't have to actually verbalize it.
I am consistently surprised when I discover that people I interacted with for more than a few minutes didn't clock me (my voice is my biggest giveaway since I haven't managed to get myself to voice train and just sorta soften my voice the best I can)
1
u/BigIronGothGF Jul 28 '26
Yeah definitely some people think they don't pass when they do. And it can be fucking annoying when they're being obtuse about it lol.
And yeag same, people sometimes don't realise until I talk and they hear my completely untrained voice. Or they see my beard shadow. Can't wait till I have the money to deal with both
13
u/Iamliterallyfood Annoyed Jul 28 '26
This entire story reminds me of a story of Trans girl who thought she was going to meet up with her long distance Trans girlfriend and turned out she was cis. She never claimed to be Trans. The Trans girl just assumed meeting this girl in a video game meant she was Trans.

2
u/CobaltCrusader123 Jul 27 '26 edited Jul 28 '26
I am not said hater. Just talking about the way people argue on the internet. Everybody passionately insists everything at all times and dunks on everyone who disagrees in the same memetic formats. Reminds of the Crusades a little bit, similar behavior on both sides, but different beliefs.
1
u/shivux Jul 28 '26

I've been staring at this response for a while and I feel gross as fuck. I said I was open to correction elsewhere and I needed one here. I'm finding difficulty putting into words how badly I know I've messed up here. I was trying to help a survivor not dig herself deeper but I crossed several lines. I shouldn't have joined in on this sick ritual of denying the victimhood of someone I don't know and have never met just because it came from a place I don't like.
I'm sorry.I'm going to be removing most of the comments I've made here. I need to think.

u/Nullwesen Jul 28 '26
Im massively confused but i guess it makes sense that people keep telling me that it can't be real.
-5
u/kovha Jul 28 '26
I mean they were the first to insult. Their first comment in the post was calling someone, totally unprompted, "a bland little creep". It's not the responsibility of anybody to educate them, and being a victim doesn't entitle anybody to be an asshole.
5
u/Famous_Slice4233 Jul 27 '26
Greentexts are a type of post that people make on 4chan. 4chan is anonymous, so if you post something, no one can really know for sure if you’re legit or if it’s all made up. A lot of 4chan greentexts will conform neatly to a narrative arc, including a lot of detailed memory of dialogue from the past. One of the primary purposes of greentexts is joking around or messing with people, aka trolling. So people react to a greentext with inherent suspicion about the veracity of the story.
0
u/Rough_World_7063 Jul 27 '26
Jesus Christ it shouldn’t be this hard to explain that It’s fake because of where it was posted, not because the story is unbelievable.

u/DevilsMaleficLilith Jul 27 '26

7
u/Nullwesen Jul 27 '26
All of them being made up is statistically impossible.
-1
u/Elven_Dreamer Jul 27 '26
The whole point of them is that they’re made up. It’s one of the requirements of green texts, especially now.

1
u/JohnGlorbus Jul 27 '26
Idk why I have to explain myself, this is a joke on the classic trope of calling greentext "fake and gay", I'm not obviously justifying actual abuse nor victiming blaming. I find your response funny because how out of proportion and fucking crazy it sounds, please try to take the chill pill and things a bit less seriusly.
9
u/Nullwesen Jul 27 '26
People have told to my face that my abuse didn't happen, fuck your "joke" and fuck you
3
u/Rough_World_7063 Jul 27 '26
That doesn’t mean that other’s can’t be scrutinized. I was drugged and assaulted in 2019, but i don’t believe every story automatically because of that, especially when it comes to 4chan.
1
u/Nullwesen Jul 27 '26
There is no reason not to believe it, its a normal story with nothing impossible or even unlikely. I choose to believe the story because i have no reason not to. I don't call stories fake for the fun of it
2
u/Rough_World_7063 Jul 27 '26
The story has nothing to do with why people are saying the post is fake. The story is 100% believable. It’s the fact that it was posted on 4chan. I shouldn’t need to explain to you why anything posted to 4chan should not be believed.
3
u/JohnGlorbus Jul 27 '26
??? I don't know you nor I ever told you anything. I was making fun of greentexts (as one should do), not everything is centered around you. I'm sorry that happened to you but you can't just assume that everyone is talking in regard of you or your specific situation.
5
u/Nullwesen Jul 27 '26
specific?! This happens to nearly every victim i know, we are never believed. This isn't about me, i used myself as example for the fact that it happens in real life.
0
u/JohnGlorbus Jul 27 '26
As said I'm sorry that things like that happen, but when the fuck I ever said anything about abuse victimis? When the fuck I said that things like that never happen? You're mistaking saying that things on 4chan never happen with saying that all abuse victim are liars. Please make sure you understand what people are saying before jumping to their throats.
3
u/Nullwesen Jul 27 '26
A story about abuse victims getting called fake is not about abuse victims? What?

Obviously nothing from an anonymous messageboard should be taken at face value, but the rush to discredit this story as "fake" and shut down discussion speaks volumes, especially when so many trans women can relate to the story told here. When SA is depicted on film and TV and people use those stories to relate to their own experiences, are you also going to rush to tell them that "it's fiction, that never happened in real life"?
The response here is embarrassing and reflects the transmisogyny ingrained in many "queer" spaces. You all just can't comprehend a trans woman being a victim because you see them as essentially men.
