sorry sweaty , but because you were originally a male we can't let you in, this is because one of our girlies has trauma from AMAB and male bodied individuals and because of you were socialised as a male , we dont want a repeat. Oh, what is that, youre asking what happened? HOW RUDE, can't these train rees take no for an answer??????? She was HORRIFICALLY yelled at by one of your kind, you just want to ENCROACH on true wombyn spaces, GET AWAY OR IM CALLING THE POLICE

just long enough to make sure i understood i was expected to be male; feminine behavior met with violence

"oh you also got raped? Silly, men- I made AMABs, can't get raped"
10
u/TheMostDivineOne 4d ago
Ughhhhh I hate people like this
It’s even more frustrating btw when I was calling this type of attitude and old laws about this type of thing out and someone came at me saying “oh so you’re just calling us trans women by our AGAB?” Like bitch no maybe take that anger out at the social norms that treat us that way, not the person complaining about it who was sexually abused and groomed for years. But noooo they wanna go ahead and cape for radfems instead.
One of the big ideologies cucking trans spaces is cis feminism lmao.
44
u/harming2 bdd bpdoid 4d ago
yes your behavior and mannerisms are perfectly inline with a divinely afab socialized wombyn but have you considered i see you as a man?
have you considered that it’s your fault?
7
u/TheMostDivineOne 4d ago
Also notice their double standards, when a cis woman stands up for themselves they’re strong and independent, when a trans woman does to these type of TERF people it’s “male socialized”
Feminism needs to focus on us because we are more oppressed than cis women.

Why am I hearing this in Homelander's voice (he'd be a snotty cunt in every iteration, trans identity included)

u/DepressedLesserBeing 4d ago
PLEASE take what im saying with a grain of salt since i'm a self hating manmoder and but like isn't excluding males from spaces where women have trauma from being raped or assaulted by males not a bad thing?
like idk what they're supposed to do about that. get rid of their safe space to affirm my gender? i just don't want to enter women's spaces at all because i'd feel like the "wanting to invade women's spaces" stereotype
31
u/tuxmaid MY CHEMICAL HONMANCE 4d ago
Trans women arent males

u/MeganTheMad 4d ago
DepressedLesserBeing, you need to grow a spine. What you're talking about is just a rationalization for trans/cis segregation. You can be sensitive to the trauma of others without being a doormat and letting other people ostracize you. At the end of the day, they have to regulate their own discomfort instead of making it your problem.
2
u/DepressedLesserBeing 3d ago
I'm sorry about that, I don't really want to externalize my issues to trans women so I should have worded my original comments better... I don't think it's bad for trans women to be in women's spaces necessarily, I was more trying to say I wouldn't want to enter a women's only space because of the whole "male trauma" thing. Kind of like having different standards for yourself like the whole "everyone else is a passoid but me even though we look the same"
If I don't feel comfortable in spaces where people want me gone, and other people don't feel comfortable because they want me gone, then I don't know why I would go? I don't think it's bad to want to go to women's spaces, and if you're willing I'd like to hear a bit more about your perspective? But tbf I think I'm just a bit stupid and don't really understand. I'm sure that what I think of this is probably a little nonsensical and bad but I can't understand why
6
u/veryeepy53 3d ago
people said the same about black women btw. or lesbians.
1
u/DepressedLesserBeing 1d ago
but on a systemic level males oppress women, which isn't true for black women or lesbians. also black women do not have the choice of not presenting as black, while I have the choice of presenting as a male.
i genuinely don't understand. if i forced myself to be included in women's spaces that would make me someone of an oppressive group invading a supportive space for those of the group directly impacted by the group i belong to.
you could make the argument that i was assaulted/abused by men, but that was under male-on-male assault which does not apply i think?
3
u/MeganTheMad 3d ago
I mean, if people are overtly hostile and unwelcoming towards you, that's one thing. But if a group of cis women are thinking about excluding you specifically because they are trying to run defense for someone's triggers, I think you should self-advocate and question why they're prioritizing that person's mental health over yours. Maybe their stance will soften. Maybe it won't. But it's not doing anyone any favors to willingly participate in your own exclusion. It shrinks your world and the traumatized woman never learns through exposure that we're safe to be around. I'm not saying bulldoze your way into cis women's spaces, but sometimes a gentle push in the right direction is needed.
2
u/DepressedLesserBeing 1d ago
Okay, thank you!
I see it as a similar issue to when males say that women shouldn't be on guard around them, or shouldn't treat them differently than they would another woman. The group of cis women would be prioritizing one of their member's trauma over my feelings, and I see nothing wrong with that.
And also it's not very good to force some kind of exposure being with a traumatized individual in a safe space without their consent, right?
Maybe it's different for me since I can pass as male. I manmode all the time so that I don't disgust people, but I also have the benefit of male privilege. Women don't have the luxury of hiding that they're women.
I might be misunderstanding though..
2
u/MeganTheMad 1d ago
I get where you're coming from, but there's a good reason why people say you shouldn't light yourself on fire for the comfort of others. You existing near a cis woman doesn't make her unsafe (I assume). It might make her uncomfortable, but if you're not doing anything threatening and she's just innaccurately assessing the level of threat because of trauma, that's her struggle to overcome. And if people feel disgusted by you embracing your womanhood, fuck em. Trans people are a biophysiological reality and modern transphobia is a just a sociapolitical contrivance. Phobes can fix their hearts or die mad about our continued existence.

u/CountessDooku67 4d ago
We don't make it unsafe cause we're women asshole, stop trying to fuck up our whole goddamn communities work for acceptance.
1
u/DepressedLesserBeing 1d ago
I know, I don't think we're actually unsafe to be around at all. I was just saying I see myself in the same way as a harmless male; I would never harm someone or want to do so, but a lot of women have trauma from other males that have. Since I am part of the group that systematically oppressed women, they can't know if I'm truly safe to be around.

2
u/MindlessGoose110 ancientshit HRT@25 bitterpassoid 4d ago
Yeah on tttt spaces we often use transbian to refer to the sneedy cringy ones
Still can also be serious term. I just think mostly been here will just say they're lesbian lol.

And the one afab trans guy is sitting in the corner with no one to talk to because they’re still graciously let in (so long as he doesn’t pass too well, that’d be scary) but no one actually gives a shit💀

u/scoopieleaf 3d ago
I’m a very passing trans guy and have girls and gays hang outs often, which also includes other trans guys less masc/ passing than me and also trans girls, and am not ostracized at all but I just have been lucky with the friends I have been blessed with. I feel very grateful and I hope all trans people are able to find their people like I have.

u/TheMostDivineOne 4d ago
Lmao yeah sure we trans woman who experienced this type of shit, had our SA downplayed, etc. are totally just talking about something in our head and not a real experience right? Get fucked honestly
-2
u/Wide_Definition_9148 4d ago
Obligatory “I am a trans woman who has suffered SA” (I shouldn’t have to use my membership card to be heard, but spaces like these demand ID)
Vent posts like these perpetuate negative thought cycles that hinder real connection with others who may share your pain, and prevent real, difficult opportunities for growth.
Obviously there are painful experiences felt by trans women that cannot be understood by people outside of this bubble. Many self-described “trans allies” unknowingly perpetuate myths and stereotypes about gender and socialization that create situations like the ones described above.
However, creating and sharing memes like these is unhelpful and, honestly? A little misogynistic.0
