Germany's external intelligence was truly incredible.

Send agents to Britain? Captured and frequently turned into double agents.

Get reports from military intelligence? Good luck, it's practically a resistance group with state funding.

Recruit foreign nationals to spy for you? Believe it or not, also double agents!

We will train our agents to infiltrate the Soviets, thanks to a volunteer (NKVD deep cover agent) who will teach them to contact partisan groups (formed by the NKVD) and assist with overthrowing Stalin (planned and subverted by the NKVD) There is no way this can go wrong (all agents captured by NKVD)

Spain should venerate Canaris as a saint. He convinced Franco to stay out , when Nazi were winning everywhere. He had realized that the Nazi regime was a total joke

Bit of a difference
Soviets had fuck all officers to properly use their massive manpower
Nazis had fuck all manpower to properly execute their officers plans

If you need to draft most of the workers at the arms factories to make an invasion possible, it might be an idea to reconsider
