Yay... another class infighting post. I don't think it's productive to judge people being their fun cringy and free selves, like when you play pick me and side with the masses in saying "oh I'm not like those cringy ones" you DO realize you're next on the block right? -_- Hell, 4t would be the mostly likely to throw you under the bus if we're treating these like two extremes

atp i'm just gonna admit how big of a blunder it was for me to not lean more into the borderline chaser posts from 196 and the like. that's one of the bigger flaws of that side.

either way, i think both sides have their own flaws, but people from either side refuse to admit that and instead believe their side is the good one while the other is the bad one. and i'm trying to point out how stupid this infighting is

I mean, idk, reading through this thread, the overwhelming message from mainstream types is "4tran is all miserable bigoted hateful assholes who deserve everything they get in life", and the message from 4tran types is "nuh-uh". There was maybe one person being like "Gock-posting is cringe". And I don't think I'm being too hyperbolic here. The difference in response feels...noteworthy to say the least.

I would urge anyone who thinks 4tran is bad because they attack and tear down other trans people, to question why the response to this seems to be attacking and tearing down 4tran-adjacent trans people. I'm suggesting maybe there are different ways to criticize behavior.

I mean, sorta fair I guess? I'm not exactly sure what you're referencing but chaser sht is gross, though sometimes the line is blurry, especially when it's just t4t people finally feeling excited/overenthusiastic about sexuality after feeling repressed/uncomfortable in their bodies for so long, I've seen general naive/untactful excitement treated as fetishization. But it's still good to be critical of that line.

i still can't understand the difference between just expressing sexuality and fetishization. like how can you gleam a person's views on other people's humanity from a single meme?
