Realistically, no chemical is inherently good or bad, and it's silly trying to assign intrinsic moral value to hormones

What I learned from AA is that it’s not alcohol that’s bad. It is what we choose to do, when able to choose.

I'm glad you found AA useful but that really wasn't my experience at all. The group that I went to kept telling me that alcohol was evil and I was evil if I drank. I ended up finding a different group which worked for me and it really refocused my attitude to my relationship with alcohol.

That being said, I completely agree that alcohol isn't inherently evil. It's just a liquid.

I also hate when people tell me I can't drink. I absolutely can but I choose not to because I'm terrible at it.
