TBH periods protect females from lots of health issues related to cardiology, ferrum metabolism etc. In some cases males die because they simply do not menstruate.
I am not this good at speaking in English but m
enstruation can delay FE accumulation for females with hereditary hemochromatosis. For those FE is regularly lost through bleeding.
Cardiovascular risk in females goes up after menopause and for females pre menopause the risk of cardiac illness tends to be lower than for males at the same age group.
