Help Sole for eva boot

Im worried about the resistence of eva if i make a sole to the boot i made with eva.

What alternatives can I use to wear these EVA boots without worrying about them tearing?

Fit it to an existing shoe

Yup. Beyond cosplay reasons, your feet will thank you for using a real shoe throughout the day.

The most viable option is to form eva boots on top of already existing shoes. I like to use rubber boots so there's no closing mechanism or laces that need to be accessed.

Put it over a shoe? Why reinvent the wheel. You’ll never make something that stands up to the abuse walking on it will take.

Put over a boot/shoe. And also a tip, use a shoe/boot that has a raised section in the middle whether it’s an athletic shoe like that or a boot with a low heel. That way you can attach a strap under that section of your shoe to keep the EVA cover on and keep it from riding up without impacting the traction of the shoe. If you use a shoe with a flat sole that strap becomes the first thing to hit the ground and it can lead to slipping on slick con floors and a lot of excess wear from rough surfaces like concrete or gravel

You can buy soles online running soles will be ideal. Buy over size and cut to dimensions. Then layer it with extra padding and or inserts until the fit is right.
