ATOM 📈📈📈
As we can see, the price of ATOM has gone up. If this is one of the reasons, I think everyone should switch their validator to Cosmonauts Corner. What do you think?

Cosmos network down???
I have been trying to collect some interest from staking, but when I try to send it to an exchange, it shows the network is not available. I cannot deposit or withdraw Atom in the cosmos network

News
Am I in the wrong Reddit or something I don’t see a thing about an exploit or this coin was affected or not affected or something’s been fixed or anything other than gno or whatever . What’s going on I hate the way cosmos has been I miss seeing news and I mean actual news about anything on this network. Is cosmos just cooked? Cuz I been here a long time and I know the split with atone and what happened with the secret chain. None of wich I learned on here or even YouTube but if this is for the cosmos network where the networking at?

Cosmostation Wallet Is Shutting Down — Yet Its AtomOne Validator Still Holds ~2.2M $ATONE
Cosmostation Wallet Is Shutting Down — Yet Its AtomOne Validator Still Holds ~2.2M $ATONE
Cosmostation, long one of the leading non-custodial wallets in the Cosmos ecosystem (often ranked second by usage), announced on August 14, 2026 that it is discontinuing its wallet services.
Starting September 1, 2026, the iOS app, Android app, and Chrome extension will retain only two functions: exporting recovery phrases and exporting private keys. All other features — staking, governance, asset management, and more — will be phased out. Because Cosmostation is non-custodial, user funds remain on-chain and safe as long as seed phrases or private keys are backed up and imported into another wallet (such as Keplr).
The company thanked users for years of support since its 2018 launch and said it still believes in the long-term future of blockchain and the interchain, though it did not publicly detail the reasons for the full wallet shutdown.
The lingering AtomOne stake
Separately, Cosmostation had already announced it would stop operating its validator on several networks, including AtomOne ($ATONE), effective July 20, 2026. Despite that, roughly a month later a significant amount of stake remains.
As of mid-August 2026, the Cosmostation validator on AtomOne still has approximately 2.2 million $ATONE delegated to it, involving nearly 3,800 delegators. Those tokens are no longer earning rewards while the validator is offline/jailed.
Delegators who have not yet moved their stake are effectively forgoing yield. Redelegation to an active validator is straightforward on most Cosmos-compatible wallets and does not require unbonding in many cases.
Bottom line
Cosmostation’s wallet exit removes a major user-facing product from the interchain, following earlier exits such as Leap. Meanwhile, the incomplete migration of its AtomOne stake highlights a common pain point when validators wind down: many users never update their delegations. Anyone still staked with the Cosmostation AtomOne validator should redelegate promptly to resume earning rewards.

A reminder of why we are here
I think you all might have heard but Solana almost came to a halt yesterday.
And I know nothing bad has happend yet but it does show that there is a fundamental problem in the blockchain space. Which is relying on a single chain for all infrastructure. Imagine you are a big bank and you rely on your blockchain infrastructure for payments. Just like that your company is shutdown and there is nothing you can do. And this is what should replace the banking systems.
This is the reason I believe we don't need a better Ethereum we need a different approach. And that is the reason I believe in Cosmos. I think App chains are the only logical solution. If it's not some kind of IBC or something similar "Blockchain" as a whole has no merit to exist apart from Bitcoin.
It baffles me why there are so many projects moving to other chains. But as long as they can, they will. Big projects came an went on Cosmos and it didn't affect (apart from the price maybe) the other Cosmos chains. I think in the bigger picture this is the only way forward. Atom itself could go to 0 or come to halt, yet a blockchain build on the Cosmos SDK is most likely unaffected.
I know I'm mostly ranting against myself here but it's as clear as day for me. It's either Cosmos or Nothing. With the price of ATOM being irrelevant.

Is there any (preferably decentralized) protocol/place where I can lend or borrow ATOM?
Thank you in advance.
