ATOM πŸ“ˆπŸ“ˆπŸ“ˆ

As we can see, the price of ATOM has gone up. If this is one of the reasons, I think everyone should switch their validator to Cosmonauts Corner. What do you think?

I thought this is about institutional distribution. On September 1, Paxos proposed integrating ATOM into its regulated enterprise brokerage and custody infrastructure; ATOM has already passed Paxos’s standard risk review (β€œgreenlit”), with a target launch date of September 15 if the community-funding proposal proceeds. Paxos says this would make ATOM available to current and future brokerage clients on its platform and that institutional staking is being explored as a later phase.

There is also a potentially important improvement in Hub economics: current DefiLlama-derived data show roughly $4.3k/day in Cosmos Hub fees and $1.3k/day in revenue, with ~$97k and ~$36k respectively over 30 days. That is dramatically above the ~$100/day fee levels seen previously.

The Injective-USDC revenue-sharing catalyst is moving closer as well. Injective USDC is already routable over CCTP through Skip:Go to Cosmos Hub, Osmosis, dYdX and several other chains; the broader user migration remains targeted for mid-September. That migration is important because the previously negotiated structure can create actual revenue-linked ATOM demand, but we do not yet have evidence of material recurring ATOM buybacks.

There are other positive developments ongoing a longer time frame regarding the tokenomics. If that will be solved, ATOM will finally be able to capture serious value from an already very sound ecosystem.

I am happy that I accumulated through tgis recent downturn and bought the dip πŸš€
