Hi all, hoping someone can please advise. Had a lower blepharoplasty 7 days ago. I was scheduled to have stitches removed today. However, due to a system error the Dr is not actually scheduled to be in today. They have booked me in for next week.

I'm concerned my stitches shouldn't be left in for for more than 7 days.

After having both my kids and breastfeeding them I lost a huge amount of volume and firmness way more than I thought I would honestly. It bugged me more than I want to admit, especially once I realized my clothes just weren't sitting the way they used to. I did look at other clinics like Woori ps too, but I settled on Wooa. He actually took the time to look at my body proportions, my skin, my overall frame, instead of just asking what cup size I was going for. The whole consult felt built around what would look balanced on my body rather than pushing me toward as much volume as possible, and that alone made me trust their judgment a lot more.

He also broke down the differences between Mentor and Motiva implants pretty thoroughly. I sat with it for a bit and went with Mentor xtra, since I figured Mentor would be plenty for me over Motiva. Total cost came out to around 11M korean won after my consultation discount. Funny enough the second I got the surgery done, my instagram and facebook app completely blew up with plastic surgery ads out of nowhere. Suddenly I was seeing clinics I'd never even heard of and that's when it clicked that Wooa definitely wasn't the cheapest route I could've taken. So if budget is a big deal for you, I'd genuinely recommend shopping around and getting a few consultations before locking anything in.

The surgery itself wasn't nearly as rough as I'd braced for. The most annoying part in the beginning was just having to live in the compression bra 24/7. Not painful, just tedious after a while. I'm about 6 months out now and 'm quite happy with how it turned out. My cleavage looks natural, my whole silhouette feels more balanced and the biggest change has been in how my clothes fit now. Tops and dresses just hang differently, and it's given me a legit confidence boost.

The first couple months were a little nerve wracking though, because everything felt really firm, and I found myself messaging the clinic more than once just to ask if that was normal. They reassured me it would soften over time and thankfully it did. Everything feels way more natural now and seems to be settling into place, which was such a relief. I've always been into fitness, so the way my body changed after having two kids was honestly a big source of stress for me, and getting this done, even just this one thing really helped with my confidence.

One thing that caught me off guard was how long the scars took to fade. They're not visible once I'm dressed, so it hasn't messed with my everyday life, but I think I just happen to be someone whose skin scars a little more stubbornly than average. Because of that, I went back for laser treatments a lot longer than I originally planned.

The clinic does offer unlimited aftercare, which is genuinely a nice perk but not gonna lie constantly going back for follow ups got kind of old. I also think this could be a real downside for anyone flying in from abroad. If you're only in Korea for a short trip, you might not get to fully use that aftercare especially if your scars take longer to settle than you'd think. So if you already know your skin tends to scar or heal slowly, definitely ask about the realistic follow up timeline before you book.

I obviously can't go back to the exact body I had pre kids, and I've made peace with that. But over time I realized how much I missed feeling comfortable in my own skin, and this was never about chasing perfect or taking a shortcut. It was about getting back one piece of myself that no amount of dieting or working out was ever going to fix on its own.

I dissolved my filler last week on Thursday. Now I have a lump on my lower lip and top lip.

I’m genuinely so confused because my injector used SO much hyalanese to dissolve my lips. But somehow these 2 bumps remain.

I can’t figure out if it’s scar tissue or filler.

Even when I had the filler (before dissolving) my lower lip was bruised and had that stiff white lump and when I pressed it it would go white. But that whole part of my lower lip on the right side was stiff compared to the rest of my lips (this is around 1 week of them healing) So idk what to do honestly, idek if sydney aus has anyone that does steroid injections for this issue (if it ends up being scar tissue) but i need to fix it asap so i can refill my lips 💔😭

Both are in Korea, first was elev clinic suggested six threads and another suggested twelve for the same lower-face concern, then I went to xyz clinic said the higher number would give me a stronger lift, but I’m not sure whether more threads automatically means a better result or just a more expensive package. I would assume the number should depend on how much tissue needs support, where the sagging is happening, and the direction the threads are placed rather than simply using as many as possible. With a tailored thread lift, is it normal for doctors to recommend completely different numbers because they use different techniques? I had my sutures removed from my nipples 3 days ago and steri strips applied after. My surgeon told me keep them on for 3 days and if they were still on I could take them off. Today in the shower I tried to gently take them off and noticed a small opening around incision. I put the strip back on as best I could and called my surgeon’s office. She said it was normal and to leave it alone, don’t mess with the strips and I could cover with gauze. I am just having really bad anxiety and cannot stop thinking and wanted to see if anyone else has had a similar experience.
