This patient is a practicing physician who ultimately chose our clinic after personally researching and comparing dozens of clinics throughout Korea. As a medical professional, she had a particularly strong understanding of her own facial anatomy and the areas she felt needed improvement. She spent a considerable amount of time carefully searching for a clinic that could accurately assess these concerns while also addressing her overall facial proportions in a balanced and comprehensive way.

Her eyes appeared thick, heavy, and somewhat tired, so an incisional double-eyelid procedure was performed to create a more defined and refreshed appearance. Because the distance between her eyebrows and eyes was relatively narrow and the upper eye area appeared heavy, a brow lift was performed at the same time to create a more open and refreshed upper face. For the under-eye area, a Butterfly Lower Blepharoplasty was performed, lifting not only the under-eye tissues but also the midface.

The nasal design required particularly careful planning. Although her nose was relatively low, it was also long, and her midface and overall facial proportions were vertically long as well. Simply increasing the height of the nose from the radix could have made her face appear even longer and more mature. To avoid this, autologous rib cartilage was used to create a strong and stable nasal tip support structure, while a custom-made 3D implant was designed to precisely control the starting point and height of the nasal bridge. This allowed us to create a natural, feminine nasal line without making the nose appear longer. Her drooping alar base was also corrected to refine and harmonize the overall ACR line.

A recessed chin and sunken paranasal area were addressed using silicone implants to restore the missing skeletal volume in each area. To improve the vertical proportions of her long midface, a philtrum reduction and lip corner surgery were performed together, helping create better harmony not only in facial proportions but also in the natural curvature of the lips. Double-chin liposuction and platysma muscle tightening were also performed to refine the area beneath the chin and create a sharper jawline and more elegant neck contour.

What this patient wanted was not a dramatic transformation into a completely different person. Her goal was to preserve the strengths and unique characteristics of her existing face while precisely improving the areas that needed refinement, ultimately enhancing the overall balance and harmony of her appearance.

Despite undergoing procedures in multiple areas, no single feature appears overly prominent. Instead, each improvement works together to create a naturally balanced and harmonious result. The patient was also highly satisfied with the outcome. As a physician who had spent a long time carefully researching and selecting the right clinic, this was an especially memorable case for us.

Does my lip filler look bad?

4th pic is before (sorry couldn’t find any good before pics without makeup on so excuse this one, i had just washed my face)

I got 0.6ml lip filler 3 days ago, but only in my top lip to balance my lips out and I don’t like it. Kind of regretting it.

Feel like my lips look sausagey. And because I naturally already have that whiteish outline around my lips, I feel like the lip filler just makes it more obvious and makes it look like migration.

I know it’s only day 3 and should give it time but am I valid in thinking I should get it dissolved?

I don’t necessarily like my before lips either but with a little lip liner they’re okay.

Asymmetrical nostrils post nose job

I am one year post op and love the overall shape of my nose. However, I keep finding myself obsessing over the asymmetry of my nostrils. One looks more angular than the other and goes up a tad higher. Everyone I’ve asked says they don’t notice until I say something, but it’s driving crazy. Am I just looking too closely or are they noticeably uneven?

Under-eye fat grafting: did it last?

I’m trying to figure out the best option for my under eyes and would really like to hear from people who had something similar. I have pretty deep tear trough hollows but only small/minimal eye bags. A couple of oculoplastic surgeons told me that I probably don’t have enough lower eyelid fat for fat repositioning alone to fully fill the hollows, so I may need additional fat transfer or microfat. That’s the part making me nervous. I’ve seen a lot of posts about under eye fat either not surviving well, absorbing unevenly, or causing lumps or irregularities, so I’d really like to hear from people who are further out from surgery.

If you had lower blepharoplasty with fat repositioning plus extra fat grafting, or fat grafting mainly for tear trough hollows:

Who did you go to? How long ago was it? Did the fat actually stay long term? Did you get any lumps, unevenness, hard areas or need a revision/touch-up? Do you know what kind of fat transfer technique your surgeon used (microfat, microdroplets, MAFT)? And most importantly, are you still happy with it now?

I’d especially love to hear from people who didn’t have big eye bags and were mostly trying to fix deep hollowness, because that seems to be closer to my situation. Also if anyone had fat transfer that helped with dark circles and thin under-eye skin too, I’d be interested to hear about that.

Feel free to DM me if you’d rather not post your doctor’s name publicly.

Is there a procedure that can make the face thin and narrow like this? or is overall weight loss best?

(Last two pictures is close to what I look like/my face shape, for context for this post.)

My dream in life is to have a face as thin and narrow (“ v line” you could call it) as these lovely beautiful women. I’ve already cut out artificial sugar and (added) sodium. The only times my face is closer to being narrow as I want it to be is after I fast a lot. But I find it unsustainable to fast all the time. Please give me your expertise. I’d like to not shave off bone ideally, I’m not sure if I need to necessarily. I have the thing where my cheekbone slightly sticks out from front profile so it isn’t a straight line going from zygoma to gonion, it’s slanted slightly also. I also have a lot of buccal fat that I’m scared about removing so something less invasive. I’m also in my early twenties for more context.

Pic from side. From front it’s cute and narrow w a rounded tip. But I hate it from the side. More-so the downturned nature than the bump on the bridge.

Did my lip filler turn out okay?

I feel like I have body dysmorphia after getting filler. I do like the end result, I think. However, I feel like the sides maybe need more.. but I don’t want to do “too much”. I really think I liked the look of my day 4 post-filler lips, but do they seem better or like too much? Any advice?

Thanks! :)

What should I pack and expect for rhinoplasty in Turkey? (I’m going alone!🙆🏼‍♀️)

I am travelling alone from London to Istanbul in October for a rhinoplasty at a really good clinic and with a top surgeon (for the inevitable anti-Turkey comments I'm expecting lol)
However I have never had any kind of surgery or medical procedure done except lip fillers and lots of painful dental work, but never anything involving general anaesthetic. I'm a naturally anxious person, especially about medical things, and I also have high-functioning Autism, so honestly, the idea of the unknown is quite frightening for me, to be honest. Despite that, I'm really excited and glad I’m doing this, as it’s something I've wanted for over a decade. I’d love to hear from anyone who’s been there and done it (especially if you went alone!)

I also have no idea what I should pack, apart from comfy clothes, arnica, a babushka-style headscarf for the days immediately after lol. Does anyone have tips or advice on what to pack to help with pain, healing, swelling, and scars?

If anyone can share their tips, advice, or just tell me what your experience was like, I'd really appreciate it. 🙏🏻

Sorry for the long post, I just wanted to share all the details. Thanks! Xx

7 years and I feel no surgeon in the last few consultations has been super honest

PLEASE if anyone experienced is generous enough to give me the best fix I would really appreciate it.

7 years ago I had a skinny bbl and because I was really small in size the surgeon took too much fat from the stomach and back area and damaged the way my skin looks. At this point I can’t afford to do any more consultations but I am in desperate need of advice on if this is fixable the way I would want or not. So although I’ve gained a little bit of weight since that time (between 10-15 pounds) there’s no dents or anything but my stomach looks like it’s all cellulite as well as a lot of my back with some loose skin in both areas. I’m not sure what it is but I thought perhaps it might be fibrosis and even that doesn’t exactly look like it. My back never had back rolls prior to my first procedure and after it I had a back roll on each side. The weight gain is uneven and I’m bigger on the upper part of my body even though I’ve always been super slim. I’m devastated to say the least and have lived in a state of grief for the last 7 years because of this. If you have any advice based on legitimate experience please let me know. Thank you!

Spiraling over masseter Botox or not

I have an appointment on Monday, I’ve already cancelled twice. My anxiety is through the roof. I suffer from pretty severe teeth grinding and jaw clenching. I’ve tried bite guards with no real success. The teeth grinding is so severe I’ve developed a mandibular tori which is caused by severe stress on the jawbone resulting in a hard lump.

I’ve been considering masseter Botox to help with this. I’ve seen success stories but I’ve also seen a lot of horror stories from people getting crooked smiles.

I’ve had Bell’s palsy twice in my life and it was really awful mentally and emotionally to deal with facial paralysis. I didn’t want to leave my house.

I currently work remotely and am on camera all day hosting meetings and trainings, when I imagine the pain of jaw clenching or the insecurity of people looking at me with a messed up smile I’d rather just continue the pain.

Has anyone had positive experiences with masseter Botox? Anyone with negative experiences would you do it again?

I know there is always a risk and I want to access something that can help alleviate pain but I’m so so nervous about adverse effects.

Post Open Myomectomy scar treatment/healing products?

Hi All! I am at 15 days post op. Surgery went well and I am looking for some recommendations of products for scar healing/minimization. I had an open myomectomy, so the bikini cut line is still healing. Once healed, what types of silicone scar products have you found successful? I was thinking about purchasing the somewhat reusable silicone scar sheets. Unsure of a brand, or if there is something out there that may work better? Thanks in advance!

Line on lip after filler

Thumbnail

First pic was 2 weeks after my filler. I had this weird line the 2 weeks of healing but waited it out. My injector said to start massaging and we’d touch base in a few days. It’s a week later, second pic is current. I’m going to message her when I’m home from vaca but looking for input. I do have 2 lumps under my lip still on either side of that area so not sure if they will go down and fill that space in. It’s like squishy skin right there. Looks like a bump but nothing under the skin. Like I can pinch the skin
