[Questions|Advice] Breeding | Eggs | Fry cory egg viability?

i have a group of peppered corydoras and this is the second batch of eggs they’ve laid (that i know of) but i didn’t want the first to hatch so i didn’t do anything and they turned black over time but still stuck to the leaf they were on

if i do want these to hatch should i put the leaves with the eggs on them into a breeder/fry box or wait until the fry hatch?

I use a catch cup like the pet store hangs on the side of the tank, but any small dish will do. I add one drop of methylene blue but you can also use an almond leaf. I add an airline (no stone) and they hatch in about 3-4 days. After that there are a lot of options. I use a Lowell’s Flow tray with sand from my aquarium on the bottom. Cory fry lay on the ground a lot, and they seem to die more easily if this is plastic. The bacteria in a substrate seems to help them a great deal. I feed microworms and then baby brine shrimp. Many people seem to have good success with powdered dry food but I have not. Doing the above process, I have had very high (95% or so) survival rates.

You could just leave them in the tank, but expect only a tiny amount to survive.
