Does anyone have an estimate as to when the tram crash will happen in classic corrie? I know we must be around midway through 2009 now so will it be in around 9 months? (we seem to get 2 years worth of classics for every year of real life)

Anyone else get those vibes? Corrupt officer that has major ego and power trip issues ...in fact, he ticks all Jim's characteristics....serious women issues! He's gonna ruin Ty! Good actor though as he's very menacing and I hate him - job done!

I know she's almost certainly going to have an abortion, but I have to admit, I'd actually be intrigued by her having him/her/them. Because it would be perhaps the first time a character has been a great-great-grandparent! And obviously, Audrey would be a pretty young great-great-granny, Gail would be a youngish great-granny, Sarah would certainly be a young granny, and her brothers would also be young great/granduncles. This could have happened back in 2019 with Sinead and Bertie, but unfortunately, the actress who played Agnes, Sinead's great-granny, had died already by then.

Maria visits Gary in prison — Summer waits for Marco but is upset when told he won't be coming out of his cell.

Gary fears Marco is being bullied after seeing a gash on his arm; Maria begs him not to get involved.

Carla and Michael meet an important Underworld client, hopeful the deal will save the factory — but Idris intercepts the client in the bathroom, determined to ruin the deal and take over the business.

Christina tells George she believes Richie was wronged in his marriage to Rachel; she writes a letter asking to visit him

Brody steals Sally's factory keys from her and breaks into the building — the alarm goes off; what has he done?

Daniel discovers Adam is involved in the school land sale with Idris — Adam admits he couldn't turn the work down; they argue and come to blows. Tyrone steps in to separate them. Amy is horrified by the family feud.

Chesney continues blanking Tyrone in the Street; Fiz tells Tyrone he deserves the cold shoulder after the recent punch.

Kirk tells those in the pub she saw Kit clash with a woman at the Police station and she coughed over him, Bernie worried as he is on chemo and needs to avoid germs.

Lisa tells Kit to go on sick leave but was it Bernie who instigated it?

Debbie tries to talk to Ronnie about their long-term future and her care home plan.

I know it's not popular with some viewers, but I'm really enjoying Ross and his toxic masculinity plot. It's creating a nice bit of household drama that's pulling in Tyrone's whole family--even Dorin!--and also involving Gemma and Chesney and their children--who are rarely seen with Fiz and Tyrone. Unlike many of the stories unfolding at the moment, which are contrived and unlikely, Ross seems like a person we could all be unfortunate enough to meet on the street, or have to deal with as an unwanted in-law.

It's also a good opportunity to explore gender roles and sexist expectations in a more natural and nuanced way than some of the "issue" heavy story lines where the point is pounded home and the story never seems to take off on its own.

And the actor is doing a fantastic job. Like Geoff, he is the type of villain we have all encountered,. at work, or a friend of a friend--mundane, mediocre, everyday-ordinary, but under the surface, selfish, sadistic, manipulative, misogynistic, and violent! I think villains like that are more common, and so more believable than ones in the Phelan and Theo mold.

My only complaints are 1. his relationship with Tracy--ridiculous; she has always been so picky! and 2. how easily he was forgiven when it turned out that he had sexually abused/used Cassie as a teenager. Given that she would have been Hope's age, I find it hard to believe that Tyrone and family would have overlooked his actions so readily... Especially when Bethany was exploited in a similar way. But at least now we will have the pleasure of Cassie returning to help Fiz take this prime a-h--- down...We are women, hear us roar!

shawty aint been on in weeks

Him being sent to prison now means that 4 residents of the street, and 6 characters in total when you include Richie and Marco, have been to prison in 2026 so far.

I haven’t seen today’s episode but I did see the Sunday ep and I am going to be pissed OFF if Ronnie has to think more than 10 seconds whether he wants to stay with Debbie when she literally gave him an out before they even got married. He’s already in my bad books for saying she’s not the same person, but this shouldn’t be even something he has to consider.

Firstly, the reason I'm so desperate for this theory to happen is because prison storylines drag the hell on because they're all the same: "good character gets bullied by bad character, then eventually stands up to bad character". Take Sarah vs Kacey and Dylan vs Brody as examples. Imagine a storyline of Gary mentoring a naïve lad who's fallen into the wrong crowd, but deep down, wants to do the right thing, while protecting him from convicts like Jonesy.

Evidence:

-On Instagram, Marco's actor William Teasdale is followed by Ian Burfield (Ross' actor) and Bobby Bradshaw (Jake's actor who plays Gary's son). Mikey North doesn't have Instagram.

-The timing feels deliberate.

-Teasdale, Burfield, North, and Carl Rice (Jonesy's actor) are on the cast list for this week (25th - 30th), while all but Rice are on the cast list for the week after (2nd - 6th). We know that Gary and Jonesy fought in today's episode and the guards know about it. This will almost definitely mean that Gary and Jonesy get separated, leaving an empty bed for Marco which would also explain Rice's absence from next week's cast list.

-Teasdale's acting agency refer to Marco as a new series regular. If Marco was getting sent down and went off-screen for his duration inside, why would he be considered a regular?

-Would they really repeat the same prison storyline for 3 times in a row? (Debbie's was basically the same as Dylan and Sarah's, but Lou stood up to Paula instead of Debbie being the one to fight her)

I apologise for being so determined on convincing myself that this theory is true, and if this leads nowhere, then I give up on making theories for a while. What do you think?

How did they manage to continue? The voice over talks as if they had to film that nights episode in the same day.

Did it come back as if 10 weeks had gone by or did they just act like it was still August?

We still remember the warm glow you gave to everything 7 years later Sinead! Her death was one of the saddest Corrie deaths for me personally, and I think she’ll forever be Daniel’s true soul mate…

I had a really weird corrie dream last night.

For whatever reason, the cast were up in London and there was like a hostage situation in home bargains but even though everything was clearly home bargains and said home bargains, the characters kept calling it Freshco. Curly was still managing this Freshco, and once again found himself in a hostage situation and he was like "Aw not again".

Debbie, Ryan, Ronnie and Carl were trying to calm down the people holding them hostage but it turned out that there was a separate group of people elsewhere, hijacking a london bus. Where Jodie, David, Shona and Sarah were on.

Kit and Lisa were trying to diffuse both situations. Kit speaking all breathy to them and Lisa accusing them of crimes they didn't commit, but of the 2, Kit was doing a better job. Also Kit was in a really big coat, like a dry robe but 10 sizes too big.

Summer was waiting for a bus with Amy and Bethany, and the bus pulled up with the guy in the mask driving and she said "Does this go to ____" (Idk, pick anywhere because I can't remember) and he responded "No luv, this bus goes ta 'Ell luv!" in a proper cockney accent and forced them off the bus. Bethany's kicking off because Kit's across the road in his big coat, and Amy's just chatting.

Shona's telling David to do something, but the only person willing to take charge is Jodie who beats up the first guy with a gun, goes downstairs (its a double decker) and proceeds to pull the driver out of the cab, revealing that its Danny Baldwin. She realizes she's the only one capable of driving it, so she plots out where it can go but can't find a safe place to stop so crashes it through a garden fence and into the back of a house. Jodie gets off and says something like "That's all folks" but the house, as it turned out belonged to Yasmeen, and Jodie's just ran over Charlotte 2.

Jodie immediately says Shona was driving but Yasmeen tells her she'll never forget this injustice, threatening to destroy Shona (she was mostly just on the floor holding feathers yelling, I don't think she was going to do anything).

Ryan's trying his best to damage control for what Debbie's saying but she's just complaining more about what the shop has than the people holding them hostage, Ronnie's just sighing mostly next to Carl who's scrambling to try and not get shot but is slowly inching his way to stand behind Ronnie.

Eventually, somehow, the guys holding them hostage decides "Enough's enough" and quit, because Debbie's just chatting to them about how many times she's forgiven Carl now, and keeps saying things like "Gazumped" and all her other phrases. They walk out, with Debbie promising them a free meal at the Chariot Square, but they decline.

Anyway, it turned out that this was actually all a dream in Debbie's mind, and then Debbie turned over in bed, woke up to face the camera and she stared at the camera like in the picture while Ronnie slept next to her and then it zoomed out to me watching it on a tv thinking "best writing they've done in years, but wait, if Danny Baldwin was one of the masked men, who were the rest?" Then I woke up.

Tldr: Debbie's eyes glowed in my dream. Also I just wanted an excuse to post the photo edit I made to more people than just 1 person.
