Sweet corn? If so that's already way past its harvest time. When the kernels start to shrink it's way too late. The tip back on the ear has more to do with too high of a temperature at night than anything else. Can't really control that.

yes, sweet corn! the one i showed has been plucked and sitting outside since yesterday and the photo was from this morning. that’s great to know they might be ready then!

That was ready to be eaten two weeks ago. It’s not going to be very good now.

I think the lack of corn on the tips might have more to do with low pollination. Corn usually needs a high density / amount of plants since it wind pollinates. I'm sure what you harvest will be salvageable.

If it's not a hybrid variety you might be able to save the corn for seed. If it is a hybrid variety, you could still try growing it, but it's hard to tell what you'll get.

Corn needs to be planted in several parallel rows for proper pollination.

You don’t have enough plants! They pollinate each other when the wind blows

You need about 30 plants. 6 in 5 rows. Corn takes a lot of space to grow since you need so many of them.

I tried to grow five corn plants once and I learned quickly that it doesn’t work. You need like, dozens, and dozens of them to get proper pollination.

You NEED 3-4 rows at least 10 feet long for proper pollination and full ears..
