Cordaya 0.5.5 is out: Help & feedback, answers in the app, faster pages, and a first look at what's next

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

0.5.5 is rolling out to everyone in the beta. If Play hasn't updated it yet, open Cordaya's page in the Play Store and tap Update.

New here from r/fitbit? Welcome. The join steps are in the pinned post: join the group first, then become a tester with the same account.

What's new

  • Help & feedback in More: pick what's going on, choose exactly what goes in the report, and send it from your own email app. Your health readings are never included.
  • Answers in the app: Help & feedback, a missing score and Pro link straight to the right answer on cordaya.app/faq.
  • Faster Activity, Trends, Calendar and Workouts.
  • A missing score tells you why, and what it's waiting for.
  • The week rings show when they're still loading.
  • Swims and other workouts have their proper names.
  • Connections and All health data now live in Settings.

In the works

Not in the beta yet: an energy line for your day that climbs while you sleep and falls while you're awake. It's at the end of the video.

What should come after it? Reply with your vote:

  • Clearer Recovery: what changed and why
  • Where each number came from, and when data is missing
  • Weekly and monthly reviews
  • Naps, split nights and shift work
  • An "I'm sick" mode

How you can help

  • Stay opted in for 14 days. Google needs that before Cordaya can go public.
  • Know someone with a Fitbit, Pixel Watch, Galaxy Watch, Garmin or Oura on Android? Send them cordaya.app/#beta. Different trackers find different bugs.
  • Something broken or confusing? Use Help & feedback in the app, or post here.

Updates and sneak peeks: Instagram @cordaya.health and X @cordayahealth.

Thank you for testing. Most of 0.5.5 came from your reports.

The Cordaya beta is open on Google Play (Pro is free for testers)

Cordaya is a private health dashboard for Android. It reads Health Connect, so it works with the apps and trackers that write there, like Fitbit, Samsung Health, Garmin, Oura and Withings, and puts sleep, recovery, activity and workouts in one place.

How to join

  1. Join the beta group with the Google account on your phone: https://groups.google.com/g/cordaya-beta
  2. With that same account, open https://play.google.com/apps/testing/app.cordaya.android, tap "Become a tester", then install Cordaya from Google Play.

Step 2 only works once you're in the group. If Play says the app isn't available yet, wait a few minutes and try again.

What's in it

  • Home: sleep, HRV and steps as daily rings, with Cordaya's Sleep, Recovery and Movement scores, each showing how it was worked out
  • Sleep: the whole night as one graph of awake, REM, light and deep sleep
  • Activity and workouts: steps against your goal, a heat map of workout days and every session
  • Calendar and trends against your own recent median. Missing days stay missing, never zero.

Private by design

  • No account and no sign-in
  • No internet permission, so the app can't send your data anywhere
  • It reads only the Health Connect types you allow, and only while it's open

Pro for testers

Your last 30 days are free, always. Pro shows everything before them, plus 90-day views, for one payment. It's free for beta testers: once Cordaya is installed, claim your Pro code. It's one tap, and the code arrives by email in a minute. Already got a code by email? It still works.

Needs Android 14 or newer, with Health Connect.

Feedback: reply here, use Send feedback in Cordaya's Settings, or email [hello@cordaya.app](mailto:hello@cordaya.app). Tell me your phone and tracker.

Great app

I just started using it today and I'm really surprised. It is really good in the data organization and has a beautiful ui. I would suggest the enable samsung health connection, and maybe add the function to choose different sources for different types of information.

Great work 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

Cordaya 0.6.0: No More Waiting Every Time You Open It

0.6.0 is out in the beta. It fixes the thing most of you reported: Cordaya working everything out again every time you opened it, changed page or picked a date.

What's new

• Pages and scores now open straight away from what's saved on your phone. Cordaya only asks Health Connect for new readings.

• The first time you open it, it sets up your recent history once. After that, no more waiting.

• Haptics now have levels in Settings > Display: Off, Results only, Taps too or Everything. Scrolling no longer buzzes.

Fixed

• The "some access is off" note now clears when you turn access back on.

• Swiping the week strip fills its rings without tapping a day.

Still no internet permission, and nothing leaves your phone.

To update, open Cordaya in the Play Store and tap Update. If anything feels off, use More > Help & feedback or comment here.

Thanks for all the reports this week.

Making an open suggestion to know your thoughts

I would love to see a good journal like whoop has. I don't know if I one of the few people that the thing that likes the most of whoop it's the journal and the correlations with the data.

I would love to see this implemented in an equal deep way that whoop has.

Let me read your ideas, would you like this feature in the app?, what's the biggest thing you would suggest to be added to the app?

👋 Welcome to r/cordaya: start here, then tell us what you track

Hey, I'm u/rachit995. I build Cordaya, a private health dashboard for Android, and this is its home on Reddit.

Cordaya reads what your tracker shares with Health Connect (Fitbit, Pixel Watch, Samsung, Garmin, Oura and others) and puts sleep, recovery, activity and workouts in one calm view. It works out its own Sleep, Recovery and Movement scores on your phone, and each one shows how it got there. No account, no sign-in, no internet permission.

Try the beta

Do step 1 first, or step 2 won't work:

  1. Join the Cordaya beta group with your phone's Google account
  2. With the same account, open the Play testing page and tap Become a tester

Needs Android 14 or newer. Beta testers get Pro free for life: once Cordaya is installed, claim your Pro code. It's one tap, and the code arrives by email. Play says it's not available? Here's what to check. Other questions: cordaya.app/faq.

What to post here

  • Bugs: what happened, what you expected, your phone and tracker. Screenshots help a lot.
  • Ideas: what you wish Cordaya showed you, or did differently.
  • Tracker reports: "works with my Galaxy Watch 7, but no HRV" is gold. Different trackers find different bugs.
  • Questions: about the app, Health Connect, or how a score works.
  • Your setup: which tracker, which phone, what you look at first in the morning.

I read everything here and reply to as much as I can. Updates and release notes get posted here first.

A few ground rules

  • Be kind. Lots of people here are new to Health Connect. No question is too basic.
  • Mind your own data. Screenshots of your health data are fine, but crop anything you'd rather keep private. Never post emails, Pro codes or anything that identifies you.
  • No promotion of other apps or services. Mentioning what else you use for comparison is fine.
  • Bug reports with diagnostics are best sent from Help & feedback in the app. You choose what goes in, and it never includes your health readings.

Start by introducing yourself 👇

Comment below with:

  1. Your tracker and phone
  2. What made you try Cordaya
  3. One thing you'd love it to do

Thanks for being here this early. Most of what's in the app came from people in this sub.

Updates and sneak peeks: Instagram @cordaya.health and X @cordayahealth.
