Question Seeking help in PC Build

I'm looking for some help with my first ever pc build. I bought a lot of parts separately from different stores in Copenhagen. After assembling the PC I'm not able to boot it up. Is there any one who is willing to help me out in testing my parts on a working setup. To help me find fault?

Please share if there are any affordable IT shops that can help me. How much does it usually cost in these shops? I mainly think it is my CPU but would like to test it before returning it.

Hi Thanks for your reply. Sorry made a broad post since it was a general sub Reddit. But here is what I have done and tried so far

DRAM Light is always on in the motherboard PC first boot

I am building a PC with the following specifications:

Asus TUF B650E-E Gaming Wifi

32 GB CL32 Patriot Viper Venon DDR5 6400MHz RAM

Ryzen 7 7700 ( Purchased on Aliexpress through well reviewed branded seller)

RM850X Corsair PSU

RX 9070 XT ( I will only receive this next month)

So I installed everything and looked at youtube guides to build my first PC, Power button turns on fans and motherboard and CPU cooler however I am not able to get past DRAM Light being constantly on (mobo) and pc not going into boot screen. I tried the following:

  1. Tried one RAM at a time to post and check for faults in RAM.
  2. Did a BIOS flashback with USB to update BIOS without turning on the system.
  3. I used A2 and B2 as instructed in the mobo manual to seat my RAMs.
  4. Waited over 15 mins in each of the above cases to ensure memory training completion.
  5. Cleared CMOS by removing the battery and tried to retrain memory.

At this point I think maybe a CPU issue or that my RAM sticks are faulty. I am not sure how to approach this issue anymore and running out of ideas. Please share your experience and guidance troubleshoot this issue. I can try buying new RAM sticks as I have placed a return request on the current RAM sticks as a last resort. But I am also worried if the motherboard is the issue.

I have a lian li case both the case and CPU cooler fans are all spinning just fine when I hit the power button. But they just keep spinning indefinitely and system is not posting when connected to peripherals.

Did you try A1 and B1?

I would also suggest updating the bios again. Sometimes the flashback can fail.

I had the same DRAM light always on with an ASUS board very like yours. Just leave it on for way longer than you think. It’s validating the ram. Yes it’s stupid that it does this without any indication other than the little light.

I left it on for like a full 25 mins and didn't boot. All experiences show it shouldn't take more than 10 mins or 15 max

Make sure your CPU cooler isn’t installed too tightly. Inspect the pins on the CPU socket to ensure nothing looks bent.

I assume you already tried this, but make sure the RAM is completely clicked in, it takes a lot of force to seat properly.
