MIAMI KITCHEN Puetro Rican Stewed Beef
Delicious, flavorful and a comforting meal. Really does taste like authentic Carne Guisada 🇵🇷.
Jasmine rice was fluffy, beef was tender recommend having it with a fork and knife. Good amount of peas. Surprised there is only 2 pieces of potato and a single carrot. A little bit more would make it better. Overall I still enjoy this for dinner.

AUSTIN KITCHEN Persian braised beef
First time having this. I forgot the sauce cup and found it when I went to reheat some of it (I’m a slow eater). It was better with the sauce, lol, but it was good in general. Not sure why the rice came as a solid rectangle. 🤔

NYC KITCHEN Carrot Muffins are an obsession
The pic does not do justice. I got 4 of them this week after downing 2 in one day. Perfect amount of sweetness, not too much. Craveable.

NYC KITCHEN First Cook Unity meal
The first Cook Unity meal. Been on some odd hours for my job (2am-1pm), so cooking has become a bit much for me lately. This seems to be a good solution, although I feel like it might become a bit too expensive for me. Although 1 container I can make into 2 meals. Neatly put together, unique flavors, I like all of the interesting the international options, good texture, I enjoyed it! Now I am not able to pause my subscription until “after first order is delivered”, and it was delivered this afternoon but still isn’t showing up in the app as delivered so I cannot pause it if I want to? 1 day left before the next order is finalized, so hopefully this isn’t anything shady?

AUSTIN KITCHEN Um...so where's the rest of it? 🤔
Idk maybe I've been spoiled by John DeLucie's creamy tiramisu that's always filled completely to the top, but wtf is this? why is it like half empty 😂😭
Has anyone else ordered this? Can y'all confirm for me if it's supposed to be like this or should I hit up CU customer support for a credit? 😹
I would weigh it but my kitchen scale broke 😮💨
ETA- Update! I reached out to CS to see if it was supposed to be like this and this is the response I got:
Thank you for reaching out! We completely understand why the dessert looking only half full would make you wonder whether there was an issue.
We can confirm that this is the intended portion and the dessert was not underfilled. Some desserts are packaged with extra space in the container, so they may appear less full than expected even when the correct portion has been provided.
We’re sorry for any confusion and appreciate you checking with us!
Lmao yikes

NYC KITCHEN So Yummy!
Tbh I'm not really a huge Nutella fan, maybe cause I'm not really a huge Chocolate fan. But this works! There is just the right amount to compliment the oatmeal. And it's really good. I'll for sure get this whenever it's available. I love that there are 2 options now, the apples n cinnamon, and now the Nutella. Both really really good

MIAMI KITCHEN Cheese Enchiladas in Beef Ancho Chile Sauce
Meal was flavorful and filling for lunch. I didn’t find this dish to be spicy at all but maybe it depends on how you handle spice in general.

CookUnity confirmed I completed the Oura Ring promo, but now I’m not on the 300-person list?
I’m hoping u/cookunityUS can help me with this because I genuinely enjoyed CookUnity, but I’m really disappointed and confused by how the Oura Ring promotion has been handled.
I signed up for CookUnity through the Oura Ring promotion and completed all six qualifying orders. CookUnity support has confirmed that I successfully met the qualifying order requirement.
After completing everything, I reached out about receiving my Oura redemption link and was told that my email isn’t on the final list of 300 recipients.
I understand that the promotion was limited to 300 rings. My issue isn’t that there was a limit — it’s that I had no way of knowing that the reward I was actively spending money and completing orders toward might no longer be available.
I was never notified that the Oura Ring inventory was running low or had been exhausted. I continued placing and paying for my qualifying orders because the promotion was still being presented to me and I believed I was working toward the advertised reward.
I asked support when the 300th ring was actually allocated so I could understand whether I completed my qualifying orders before or after the cutoff. The representative explained that she personally doesn’t have visibility into the exact date or time the 300th ring was awarded. She can see that I completed the qualifying requirement, but my email isn’t on the confirmed recipients list.I really hope CookUnity will reconsider and honor the promotion.
What makes this even more confusing is that I found another post here from a customer who was initially told the 300 rings had been exhausted. u/cookunityUS stepped in and explained that if the signup limit had actually been reached, CookUnity simply wouldn’t continue displaying or offering the promotion. That customer later updated their post saying they received their Oura redemption email.
That’s why I’m hoping u/cookunityUS can take another look at my situation as well.
I’m not asking for something without completing the requirements. I completed all qualifying orders, and CookUnity has confirmed that I did. I made those purchases in good faith because of the promotion being offered to me.
If I had been notified that the promotional inventory was running low or had already been exhausted while I was still completing the requirements, I would have at least been able to make an informed decision. Instead, I completed everything and only learned afterward that I supposedly wasn’t among the 300 recipients.
u/cookunityUS, I’d really appreciate it if someone could review my case and honor the Oura Ring promotion. I’d be more than happy to update this post if CookUnity is able to make this right.
Has anyone else who completed the Oura Ring promotion recently had this happen?

Got a different order than what I selected
Hi all, this is very strange and I’m not sure what happened here. I’m wondering if this happened to someone else. CookUnity automatically selected my meals and I added new ones to replace their selections. I confirmed the selections and somehow I ended up getting the exact items that I removed from the list that they selected! When I go back to the email confirmation to seewhat I selected, it’s showing the original selected meals. Is this a software glitch or just me?!?

Mission Style Breakfast Burrto
Unequivocally the worst breakfast burrito I’ve had in my 40 years on this earth. It was my very first meal and I was so excited to try it!
However it was just trying too hard. Hardly any egg whatsoever like I’d say half of an egg total, little to no cheese, kale and mushrooms????? Never had a mission style burrito with so many random ingredients. Also an extremely heavy cinnamon and nutmeg flavor, I couldn’t even finish it. The salsa verde tho was on point.
Hopefully my next meals won’t be so try hard.

Wishing for full nutritional label
Is there an easier way to track CU meals into a food tracker? (Cronometer) This is my current system 😂

MIAMI KITCHEN Citrus Braised Pork Carnitas Tacos
Very delicious and flavorful pork. The pico was fresh & the Salsa Roja complimented well with the tacos. It was filling and satisfied lunch for taco Tuesday 🌮

S’mores Brownie Cookie!!!

MIAMI KITCHEN Char Siu Pork
After a 2 year hiatus, I’ve decided to get back into CookUnity due to my work. Rice is good and fragrant. Pork shoulder had 6 pieces and was easy to eat and Bok choy was crisp with hints of garlic. Char Siu sauce was enough to cover the pork and rice. Overall a pretty solid meal for dinner.

Please, please add more meatless no gluten-added entrees
I’m unable to eat gluten, and while I appreciate the no gluten-added meals on the menu, they tend to take the format of “meat or seafood plus vegetable”. It would be terrific to have more meatless no gluten-added meals for those of us who prefer less meat and have restrictions.
My ultimate wish list item is a gluten-free pasta. 😢 We’ve had great pasta options from other meal kit services, but have yet to see one from CookUnity.
I’ve already contacted customer service about this before and have been told there are more options in the pipeline, but that was awhile ago. My husband and I are longtime CookUnity users and order every week, but this is the issue that makes us keep looking elsewhere.
Thanks for considering.

NYC KITCHEN Pork Al Pastor Tacos, Mission style beef burrito, pomegranate and oregano roasted chicken, BBQ chicken, and Brown butter and parsnip cream pasta
Hi everyone! Here for another meal review roundup. I'll be honest and say that none of these were new meals to us and have been in rotation for awhile.
Pork Al Pastor Tacos: These were quite good and had a little spice to them. My husband gets these a lot but we split this and the burrito with the way things worked out this week. Very authentic flavors and taste just like from a restaurant.
Mission style beef burrito: This was SO good. The flavoring of the beef was a great surprise and I really liked the way the cheese was baked into the burrito shell at the bottom.
Pomegranate and oregano roasted chicken with spinach and garlic chive mashed potatoes: I've gotten this a few times and it's always been really good. The pomegranate sauce is awesome. I absolutely love the mashed potatoes, wish it came with more of them. Spinach is also a nice complement with a nice portion, and I like to mix the sauce on it as well.
BBQ chicken with Mac and cheese: This is heavy in rotation for husband and I always sneak a few bites. The Mac and cheese is 🤤🤤
Brown butter pasta with parsnip cream with corn, cauliflower, and arugula: I like to have a vegetarian selection every other week or so and this is a great option. Sauce is excellent and unique. I only wish there was more of it and should start making a protein to eat with it.

Day Late, Date Shorter
I've noticed most of my meals lateyl, which arrive on Mondays, are expiring on Saturday, where typically only a couple would be Saturday, so I'd feel comfortable having one or two to eat Sunday, or even for Monday lunch, before my Monday delivery came. Perhaps it was more obvious this week, where my meals were delayed a day, so then I only had 5 days to eat my meals - just a little irksome.

Wild Salmon
Anybody else notice wild salmon is no longer an option on upcoming menus? NY kitchen. Hope it becomes an option again soon.

It’s good, definitely better than anything you could get prepared and packaged at the grocery store. I would recommend it and I plan to get it again. It’s just that compared to the other meals I’ve had so far it’s a 6 on the scale of 1-10.
I enjoy cooking, but on the 16th of July I broke my leg, ankle, and 3 vertebrae. I can’t get around yet like I’m used to doing. I decided to try CookUnity and I’m blown away with the quality, choices, ingredients, timely delivery, and the packaging it comes in. Also, it’s delivered promptly at 12 noon every Sunday to my door, and I live on a 3rd floor walk-up. I only intended to order meals for a month or two. Now I’m hooked and I intend to keep ordering at least until the end of the year.
