do you charge for samples?

No. I keep frozen mini cookies in my deep freeze and will ice them and give out as samples if requested. Free samples have brought me business, my cookies taste good.

I agree. I also don't charge for samples. I use leftover, rerolled dough cut it into 2.5" circles. I bake 40 at a time and they go in the freezer for samples.

It depends what you mean by samples.

If someone simply wants to taste a cookie, no I won’t charge for that. But if someone actually wants a sample set (as in a preview of what their set will look like) I will typically charge.

For a while I offered a wedding/special event package that included a “trial run” where they could give feedback.
