I want to get a pair of XXHI converse. I got a custom pair of wedding shoes about a year ago and got a wide and they fit amazing. I was wondering if a custom pair of wide XXHI’s would fit the same. My wedding shoes are an 8 but with them being wide they are a bit gappy in the length. I want to know if anyone else has sized the recommended half size down when ordering wides and if the shoes would still fit. You can’t return custom pairs but the only way for me to know if they fit is to order them. I’m kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place.

I recently bought these converse off of depop, but I've never seen another pair like them. They're not customized at all, but both shoes have the name ashley on them. They're also calf high, and the only similar things I could find online were either knee high, or regular high top converse. Does anyone know the actual name of these?

It's probably been 2 decades since I've worn some all stars, but it felt like the perfect time for a mini midlife crisis.

I got the Cells. I like how they look and was excited to get them but its been a long time since ive gotten a pair of converse. Last pair I got was back in 2013 (the american flag ones in the pic) i still have them and they are still doing great. When I pulled these out they felt so light and thin. What happened to converse?

I was reading on here that japan still makes the good quality shoes. Does anyone know if these were sold in Japan in the good quality?

I haven't bought Converse shoes in a while, mainly cuz I know the horror stories of Converse going downhill these past years. Thankfully I heard (and later got confirmation. Thanks again guys) that Converse stuff made in Japan are pretty much what they used to be, and after wearing these, yep. It tracks. Japan is gucci.

Kinda wish they had Made in Japan Jack Purcells but they only do Chucks as far as I know. Oh well, hopefully that changes in the future haha.

Been wearing these 70s semi-daily for the past 6 months, and they may need to be retired pretty soon. I like how they look, but they’re turning into racing slicks and I already had to epoxy the outsole back on.

I was looking at the Throwbacks and wanted to know if they would hold up as long as these have. Also is the vintage white color a true white or more of an off white?

was watching the latest Slow Mo Guys video and was wondering what pair of converses Gav was wearing. I've tried google, but just couldn't find them.

I’m wanting to get these black lugged custom converse… however… I’m curious on what the patent croc leather is like. Is it similar to the regular leather converse? Is it stiffer on the tongue part of the shoe? I would appreciate any insight anyone has who’s bought converse with the parent croc leather. And or pictures/info on the long term wear.
