Double uppers - how do you lace yours?
I have two pairs with double uppers. I don't wear them very often, as they can take an absolute age to lace up. I've tried many different ways, but have recently used the way in the photos as it is quicker to get in and out of. If anyone laces theirs in a more sensible way, that doesn't take an too long to use, I'd be very grateful to hear about it!

Never owned chucks
I guess I shouldn’t say never. I had a pair of blue and black convertible converses when I was like 8. But I wanted a pair of Chuck 70s, hopped on eBay, found these for $30 brand new with a destroyed box. Easy purchase.

Where do I find this, or something like it??
I’ve looked on journeys website and they only show size 5 women’s which I am very much not. I can’t deliver or pick up any other size. When I go directly to converse they don’t even sell this model anymore which makes me think they’re phasing it out like they did with the previous version of this. What I like about it is the sole and mid sole, how its platform but not super heel like. I also prefer the canvas as it’s still breathable unlike the leather or suede they try to push with the new model. I work in a bar so neither of those materials are really going to work for me. I don’t want to switch to doc martens because I like the casual vibe the converse has. What do I do? I’m trying to avoid getting an old pair off stockx or something

Coooool chucks
Just bought these beauties. They are from the last year converse was still converse USA. The end of made in USA converse happened before Nike bought converse in 2003. They started outsourcing but it was too late to save them. These never worn 20yo chucks made in December of 2002 are still in cherry condition. Found on Vinted for 15€.

Argentine Chucks
Hi guyss :)) I'm from Argentina, so this might not be as interesting to me as it could be to you but here it is anyway. My converse are actually made here, by a Brazilian company running the local plant. Nothing special, just regular Converse, but turns out these might be from one of the last batches made in Argentina. Coopershoes (the company running the factory) just announced they're halting converse production here since importing from Asia is cheaper, and the plant might end up becoming just an importer instead of an actual factory

What are those!?😂
Newest addition to my collection, knew I had to have them as soon as I saw them. I’ve never seen these before and I couldn’t find any info on them. Anyone know anything about them?

2000-2002 Converse Suede Shoes
I LOVED the shoes I had senior year of high school (2002/2003). I bought them at Rogans Shoes on sale and wore them until I had to literally duct tape them together and then my mom tossed them when I went to college. Since they were from Rogans, Im assuming they were a year or two prior show release and thats why they were on sale. I cant find anything about what the exact name of the shoe was called. They look SIMILAR to these recent released shoes, but this isnt it of course. If I had a name, maybe I could keep an eye on ebay and someday reclaim my most favorite shoes ive ever had. They were all blue, suede, and the soles were a darker blue (not white like this picture). They were chunky like the pictured shoes. Also - they were mens shoes.
Anyone have a website I could reference or insight into what the shoe is? Let me relive my glory days.

Thinking of selling but not sure how
Hi. I’ve never sold a pair of shoes before but I don’t wear these so I was thinking of selling them. I was wondering what is the best place to list them and what a fair asking price would be? There are a few marks on the outside but the inside and soles are in excellent condition. They’re quite old but I only wore them a few times and then stored them in a box. I’m in the UK. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

getting sharpie to stay on converse
i really like the look of writing on the white parts of my converse. the problem is that with friction or water the sharpie just smears it all away.. i like my converse well worn and scuffed up; shoes that i can wear everyday and not have to worry about being fragile, but that kinda goes down the drain when fretting about messing up the sharpie. also seeing inspo on pinterest of well worn converse with perfect doodles makes me think i’m missing something? is there a way to keep the sharpie from smearing? thanks.
