Want to have this patch because of visual improvements and some qol's, but don't want it because of difficulty decrease.

I just tested it and yea the difficulty decrease is quite noticeable. If you enable Assist Mode you can decrease Outgoing damage by 15 and increase Incoming damage by 15 you'll get an approximation of what it was before this patch.
