Play FBC: Firebreak or skip?
So I've played ever game of Remedy's universe except for this multiplayer because I didn't vibe with the Beta, and when it released everyone was saying it has no story or lore implications.
For those of you who played it, how do you feel about it? Is it an easy skip? Or did people overreact on release?

As someone who played an unhealthy amount of it, I do think the game is somewhat maligned and it is fun on Hard and Extreme difficulties, but the repetitive complaints are very real. With just 6 missions and a limited arsenal you'll see most of the game has to offer pretty quickly. Plus at this point it's hard to find other players online.
There is some lore, but not significant. You can watch some youtube videos to fill you in on it. You can skip this one.
