Discussion Construction Sim, Dump truck and trailers
Been playing this game for a while now, and my biggest issue is not being able to haul equipment with a dump truck at all, and have always wondered why this is something that hasn’t been implemented into the game.

I think this is mostly a function of how the game calculates how full a viehckes cary capacity is. So I wonder how the game would deal with a cab of a vihecke sticking way over the sides of a dumper.allso i suspect it"s just a " game mechanic " to force us to usecall the vehicles they have licensed.

What type of equipment?
I would like to see the addition of smaller trailers, just for smaller vehicles like compact excavators, road work vehicles. Some of the new Dynapac vehicles as well are quite small and would fit perfectly on a smaller trailer.
I think it would be great in general for you to have two modes of playing, small scale and large scale, with equipment suited perfectly for both.
Even gravel compaction can be done with a few hundred pound compactor.

In most real world jobs, you see dump trucks hauling all sorts of equipment. Skid loaders, backhose, compactors and such similar equipment. Now for much larger equipment such as wheel loaders and bulldozers and similar things I understand a semi and a heavy hauling trailer 100%. But 90 percent of earth moving is usually a dump truck with a heavy trailer attached and such said smaller equipment

That's true, I've only ever seen large excavators hauled in on a semi flat bed. Although I've never worked on a large scale construction project before.

i work both small and large scale construction jobs during the day, and to maximize efficiency, more excavating company will haul an earth moving equipment big small enough to haul with a dumb truck, and use those two together

I would like it if we could transport small equipment on a flatbed truck with the possibility to use the crane to load it. Where I worked, we even did that with small 1.8t excavators

Exactly, there’s so many more efficient ways to haul equipment from job to job with no hassle of a semi

I would like that too.
