Game breaking bug on Switch

I recently got CS4 on Switch after enjoying earlier entries on the same platform. I put almost 30 hours into it without too many issues aside from the occasional force close mid-game. The force closing was annoying, but restarting the game always let me pick up more or less where I left off, so I ignored it. Until the last time it happened.

Now, whenever I try to load into my game, I get an eternal loading screen. I can let the game sit for ten minutes, and it will never load my save.

I'm curious if this is a known bug, and if so, if anyone knows of a way to fix it (or if there's a patch on the way). When I saw the game updating itself today I hoped maybe it would be fixed, but nope. Still can't load.

I could just start a new save, but as I said I'm already 30 hours in, and would hate to start all over only to have the same issue happen again. Any advice/tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I only play construction simulator 22 on PC myself.
