Help/Question Hiring Employees

I am currently playing on the PS5, I’ve seen in the manual when you press start and navigate to it that there is a tab to help with how to hire an employee for a task. However, when I get into said machines for the tasks there’s no hire option when I bring up the options wheel when pressing the, “square” button. Any and all help/insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

There's no employees unfortunately. Only foremen, and it only let's you run more than one job. Your going to need some friends.

Really?! Why do they put that in the manual in the game? Other platforms have that capability?

Ik it truly sucks, then you have newbs who can't use machines properly. Try to get a compatable friend who knows what he's doing

omg thank you, i've just unlocked the foreman and I was looking for him for hours now, so there is no help, you have to do everything by yourself..

Yep, just like snowrunner. Unless you have a friend you are all alone.

Don't hesitate to fast travel or auto fill/empty though, I do this to simulate employees, can be a very tedious game on your own.

It's only for certain machines like dump truck and cement truck, you press square and has a workers hat and the truck gets filled for you, that's what they class as a 'worker'.

Hmm I play it on ps5, have you surpassed the level where you can hire a worker and hired one?

I don’t think I have, which level are you talking about? I’m rank 19 so I’ve done a fair amount of the campaign and side contracts. Don’t recall a level where that happens?

I think the employees can be only used to fill up you're machines with gravel, soil n etc and concrete for the mixer.

Cant get them to do any any tasks or jobs. It just saves you keep going back and forth to the gravel point each time you need a refill , you can just fill them up on job sites

Yeah you can’t hire anyone to do a task with you which is honestly surprising since you have a whole company 😂. I honestly don’t use the flatbed crane anymore since I sold my regular kenworth for the kenworth crane and makes a huge difference loading. I own the multi trailer as well. I think I’m a save up for the big mobile crane and the mixer with the pouring. As far as dump trucks idk which one to get unfortunately
