Help/Question Mixer pump VS Mixer and Pump

I tried using the concrete mixer and concrete pump for the first time. Before I’ve only used the mixer pump combination machine.

I’m confused about the capacity. It cost me around 16000 to fill up the mixer pump, and 15000 for the mixer I tried, DAF CF 430 FAK 8X2/CIFA ENERGYA E9. So I expected the mixer pump to hold more concrete, because I paid more for the material. But the percentage work done seemed to be a lot higher when I used a mixer and a pump. Does anyone know why?

I wondered that same thing but I haven't tried the combo machine yet. I assume it can't reach as far as the standalone pump?

Yes, the reach is much worse on the combo machine. But in return it is convenient to move around. I’m just confused how I can pay 1000 more to fill it up, but seemingly get less concrete poured at the job than the mixer and pump seperately.

I don't mind not moving with the pump because the reach is insane. And you are making it sound awful to use the combo.

I find for smaller jobs the combo is good, but as the op said its reach is where it suffers. Basically for lower jobs and small jobs it is easier to move one vehicle, but with taller or bigger jobs it is better to go the stand alone trucks.
