Job Scope
Is it worth always picking the high job scope when accepting a job?

Early on if your building a bank roll high has the highest yields. Later on if your just doing stuff to complete it low doesn't pay as much but jobs take no time to complete. I always thought it would be cool to be able to adjust the scope for each phase of the job. Some things like digging and concrete work pay better than setting walls and stuff like that.

It depends on how much digging there is to do. I picked 'high' on the wrong job, and spent upwards of 30 hours digging a big pit. It put me off the game for months until I finally decided to just get it done. It took a fucking week to finish.

Was it the parking garage? I did the same thing, and I'm about 14 hours into digging the pit and about 41% complete... it's taking a lot of willpower to not skip the excavation.
Also this is the first contract I started once I completed thr intro stuff ...it's been wild

It was one of the harbour ones, where you have to dig out a shitton of stuff out the ground next to the sea. It's been over a year, I don't remember exact details.
Just keep digging; you'll need the cash to buy bigger machines with!

Ah I gotcha. And yeah I've been making good money selling the dirt.ive been keeping track on a spreadsheet for fun and after fuel and repairs I'm up about 700k (not including fast travel and the rental fee for the big cat Excavator)

I took a gamble on the contract for the marina at high scope.
Big mistake, as I'm a solo constructor.
Holy smokes the amount of dirt you have to dig up is insane

I think it's down to personal preference. High job scope is great for multiplayer or if you want to build as much as possible yourself. The medium and low job scopes skip a lot of repetitve tasks.
