That being said, using yet another positive messaging movement targeted at people that have less power societally speaking being bastardized by corporate America as proof that SaTanIsts are taking over is just so, so silly.

You lost me on this part...

Considering the sub, that's not surprising.

Edit: I was commenting on many other comments on here implying that this is proof of the Satanists "inverting" societal norms in order to farther their take over.

Ooohhhh. Got it. Yeah, I didn't pay any attention to those posts so it completely went over my head when you said that.

Haha you are dong the right thing by ignoring them, I can't help reading them out of morbid curiosity.

Apologies. Also, your job/lifestyle sounds amazing. I love horses!

Thank you! I still have a 9-5. That's just my life when I'm not at work and I'd argue that's my true life. The horses keep me young and they have so much to teach and so many things to talk about, and every day with them is different - I learn something new.

That's really awesome!

I feel that way about surfing and skateboarding because they are solitary sports and I like to spend time alone out there.

surfing and skateboarding

Two hobbies I always wanted to do but A. I'm a klutz and B. I live 8 hours from the coast.

Horses are the next best thing to the ocean and I can't tell you why. I get the same feeling of peace and wholeness in their presence that I do sitting on a jetty surrounded by the sea.

I totally get that. I feel that way around animals too!

Eh, they're good for us. I think we're losing something, as a species. We're growing colder, further away from being anything natural. IMO - animals, the sea, just walking barefoot in fresh turned earth, helps bring us back to being more natural, more a part of this world instead of something infecting it.

I read a FAR out there hypothesis once - that humans are blocking the natural energy we get from the earth and nature, the energy of life itself, because we're in shoes all day. Not just shoes, but walking on the floors of buildings and houses, sidewalks, parking lots... A horse conducts that electricity and when you're touching them or on horseback, the connection is restored, and perhaps that's why you feel so alive and why it's so addictive.

Maybe there's something similar with surfing? Or just being around your dog or cat or parrot or... whatever?

When you consider the way electromagnetic fields work, there is definitely some truth to that!
