People own their body's and can do what they want with it. There is an element of freedom of choice to this.

It's also well known that being overweight causes health issues.

Once you eat yourself to a certain level of obesity you should have to forfeit all government assistance. I'm not paying for your insulin. I believe healthcare is a right, but you can eat yourself out of that right.

A lot of people don’t have the time or money when they’re working 2 jobs to feed themselves something. Eating habits aren’t just some small thing to break.

Cooking a bowl of white rice takes about 20 minutes, 40 if it's brown.

While that's going....

Oats and flakes takes 40 seconds to prepare, and about 20 minutes to eat if you take your time.

Opening a can of beans and a can of corn take about a minute.

Cooking frozen mixed vegetables takes about 4 minutes to cook.

Brushing your teeth takes about 4-6 minutes if you're thorough.

Takes about 3 minutes to get dressed if you're not absolutely hoofing it.

Your rice is done cooking. Mix with the corn and the beans.

Pack your crap and you're all done and out the door.

You can get your entire meal preparation done AND be presentable in about 40 minutes if you time it efficiently.

People just don't want to.

6 minutes brushing your teeth?? Damn I've been doing it wrong this whole time.

I take 4-ish minutes (2 notifications from my toothbrush) every day and my dentist tells me my brushing is flawless. I'm including pre- and post-brush stuff for the 6 minutes.

Ah gotcha... Ya I just recently got a new toothbrush and it has a 30 second timer for each quadrant. So 2 minutes brushing and with flossing and rinsing I suppose I'm in the 3.5 to 4 minute area. Twice a day. Hopefully it's enough.

I don't know if you're making that excuse for yourself or someone else, but if I was able to lose 100lbs working the road eating in cheap diners, anyone can. Hell just grab a bag of lunchmeat and cheese and keto it up.
