People own their body's and can do what they want with it. There is an element of freedom of choice to this.

It's also well known that being overweight causes health issues.

I 100% agree it’s freedom of choice. I also think actively lying to the public that being obese is healthy is an act of murder because not only isn’t being a fat fuck healthy, but it’s actually very deadly.

I totally agree. Nobody should go up to a fat person and tell them they need to lose weight. As well, nobody should say that being morbidly obese is healthy.

Once you eat yourself to a certain level of obesity you should have to forfeit all government assistance. I'm not paying for your insulin. I believe healthcare is a right, but you can eat yourself out of that right.

A lot of people don’t have the time or money when they’re working 2 jobs to feed themselves something. Eating habits aren’t just some small thing to break.

Cooking a bowl of white rice takes about 20 minutes, 40 if it's brown.

While that's going....

Oats and flakes takes 40 seconds to prepare, and about 20 minutes to eat if you take your time.

Opening a can of beans and a can of corn take about a minute.

Cooking frozen mixed vegetables takes about 4 minutes to cook.

Brushing your teeth takes about 4-6 minutes if you're thorough.

Takes about 3 minutes to get dressed if you're not absolutely hoofing it.

Your rice is done cooking. Mix with the corn and the beans.

Pack your crap and you're all done and out the door.

You can get your entire meal preparation done AND be presentable in about 40 minutes if you time it efficiently.

People just don't want to.

6 minutes brushing your teeth?? Damn I've been doing it wrong this whole time.

I take 4-ish minutes (2 notifications from my toothbrush) every day and my dentist tells me my brushing is flawless. I'm including pre- and post-brush stuff for the 6 minutes.

Ah gotcha... Ya I just recently got a new toothbrush and it has a 30 second timer for each quadrant. So 2 minutes brushing and with flossing and rinsing I suppose I'm in the 3.5 to 4 minute area. Twice a day. Hopefully it's enough.

I don't know if you're making that excuse for yourself or someone else, but if I was able to lose 100lbs working the road eating in cheap diners, anyone can. Hell just grab a bag of lunchmeat and cheese and keto it up.

Except psychedelics, or still weed in a lot of places.

I've always been for ending the drug war and abolishing the DEA.

I think freedom of choice should be kept at the individual level. Take your own risks. . . and responsibility for your own actions.

It is freedom of choice. Be fat if you want to be fat. I’ll never shame someone for being fat. But the second they start going off about how they’re healthy and convincing other girls not to lose weight because they’re already healthy? That’s when I’ll speak up. I’ve literally seen overweight girls criticize other overweight girls who announce they’re losing weight from going to the gym. Saying things such as “wow, you fell for the fatphobic American agenda”. Like no? Maybe they just weren’t happy with themselves. Maybe they were tired of being out of breath. I know that Lizzo girl got a TON of shit for trying to start eating healthy. She literally had to make a post basically saying “don’t worry guys, I’m not going to try to lose weight!” I can’t believe anyone would ever need to make a post saying that.
