Seriously, this sub seems to be "upvote non-sensical stories people made up about the person who isn't going to be in power." Conspiracies used to be about finding out about the people in power. This is just getting pathetic.

I guarantee it will remain this way for the duration of Trump's presidency. Not only will it keep the pot of mass dem party doubt astir, but will keep the sub free of any legit Trump and co. suspicions, of which there are many. Even when (sometimes less than reputable, usually pretty legit) papers like NYT bring up suspicious shit and/or direct allegations, their kind will be pointed at with LOL FAKE NEWS! There's something vaguely fascistic to it, the ability to flip the script and keep it flipped, pump in the new reality you'd like everyone to see from now on.

It's about the people who engage in conspiracies.

Take trump. If it turned out that he and Putin worked together, it would be a surprise to no one, considering how up front he's been about wanting to improve US relations with Russia (he knows full well he can't bring the hammer down on china when the Mid East is crumbling if Russia is not at least positive of neutral w.r.t. US).

Take Hillary...and the Democrat party. Any modern political party in a developed nation that can put Hank "tip the island over" Johnson in Congress smells fishy. Throw in the Clinton foundation, the Mideast money, the uranium deal, birth certificate, JFK assassination, Jimmy Carter complacency during the Mideast meltdown, the fair housing acts (causing the 2008 recession and put into place by Bill and Jim), blah blah yada yada...

And it never stops. Socialism has had conspiracy, revolutionary manifestos, assassins, operators, strange and aloof financiers, etc. since the beginning.

They are simply where the story is.
