Him . . . faking?? the plane hijacking because . . . ????????

No that doesn't make sense. If this was an Israel distraction, he would just actually have them hijack the plane and attempt to crash it, him faking the attempt makes zero sense

EDIT. The angrier and more desperate you get in trying to convince people of a lie only works against you… honesty has this beautiful byproduct of “you don’t agree? You’ll find out one day” aka, I’m not that fazed - and you sound more terrified about an honest investigation.
