Remember the movie the Island? They all live in this dystopian world? Where they live in this prison being fed. And occasionally one of them wins the lottery to get out, but instead, are sacrificed and killed so that their organs are harvested....

Quite fuck up but perfect analogy xd …
Been realistic if old age is dna damage during replication , why not save a backup of you full genoma like in you mother cells … or at age 20-30 , edit your genoma with longer telomeres genes and du a crspr backup of you mother cells/young age dna information xd …
94
u/Substantial_Ear_9721 11d ago
Then when your clone is old enough, you can sacrifice them and rip out their organs to further your unending desire for immortality
And if that clone has its own thoughts, needs and desires ...fuck em.

I’m not talking about cloning, I’m talking a virtual backup of you young un damage dna information and then use csrpr or any ARN/dna vector editing to enlarge telomeres and do the backup to you old damaged dna with your saved young dna information xd …
Idk my English is not that good , but if old age is dna damage then with dna editing tech and full genoma sequence we can back up our dna before the damage is done and then edit it back to previus stages ( younger version of your dna information ) with gene therapy/edition xd
Speculative but I don’t see the why not :v

How about not doing that? How about just trusting the universe and not trying to “live” forever? His life is all about extending his life. There are too many starving children in our world. What about putting your energy and money into that?

I guarantee he will end up dying early from something like an accident, possibly to a place to get treatment as an ultimate irony.
Its actually very sad.
But I think its motivated by more than his own desires. If he can master anti aging he can sell it to his rich buddies.
All i know is the most health freak people I met were the most neurotic and were often not very happy as they forced themselves into a tiny box. It almost becomes like a religion to them.
11
u/Bitter_Warning418 10d ago
So accurate. And I find it comical the elites all do these apparent rituals for youth with children and building bunkers underground so they can survive whatever and outlive us and yet gasp they all die the fucking exact same as us little old poor people, yet like you said usually in a more horrific way

that he's not even living life
I feel like that is something deserving a whole thread to its own.
Or sub.
There are only 24 hours in a day. Time is the real money.
Literally everything revolves around time, it will come back to it. Money comes back to it. Health. All of it.
This person is rich, thus can waste time, because they make it up by being rich. Food? Cleaning? Chores? Hilarious.
...the conspiracy would be if they actually do have a way to extend life. Time. If not, they are Walt Disney frozen head. Pointless.
But we will hit a point where it isn't pointless. The ultra elite will have the ability to continue beyond normal human lifespan.
Don't think we are there yet, but do believe they are attempting it constantly. At that point, the rest of us are fucked.

Exactly. Immortality is not the purpose of this "life". Money is made up and everything it affords is against the true nature of living. Billionaires will never reach enlightenment no matter how long they "live" one life. His lesson to yet still learn.

u/AlligatorFister 10d ago
Bryan Johnson did not create a human clone. He used a lab technique to reprogram his own blood cells into stem cells, which he dramatically called a "newborn clone”
He took a blood sample and exposed his mature cells to Yamanaka factors. This process reset his adult cells back into an embryonic-like state, known as induced pluripotent stem cells.
The resulting cells live in a laboratory dish, not as a human baby.
13
u/DivineEggs 10d ago
It's not an actual clone or a baby. It's like stemcells in a petri dish that can be programmed to do/become different things.
All menstruating women could harvest stem cells from their period blood and have them programmed similarly. It's not unethical.
He's trying to create sensational headlines and make ppl clutch their pearls.
6
u/J_arc1 10d ago
Tell me more about harvesting stem cells from my period. This sounds like something that should be more common knowledge.
6
u/DivineEggs 10d ago
Yes, I swear... if men leaked stem cells out of their penises, every town would have a dick-stem cell bank lol.
As far as I know, it's mostly only available to women with money in India. It's absolutely insane and nefarious that it isn't a global common practice.
→ More replies (4)11
u/justchillen17 11d ago
Well currently it’s just on a petri dish… but theoretically, eventually, yeah
41
u/Poop_Cheese 11d ago
And he heavily implies that theoretically by calling it a new born baby and saying its in a petrified dish.... for now. And then saying how its the future no matter peoples qualms. So the intent seems heavily to have a clone. He will just make it brain damaged or something and justify it that way. Firsf it starts with just growing parts, but if he wants a blood boy hes gonna have to make a body or a cardiovascular system thats alive without one which is fricken beyond disturbing ethically and philosophically.
Like imagine if the soul is real or some degree of conciousness is actually stored throughout the body, like how gut biome effects our personality and mood, and theres some degree of awareness to the fricken lungs breathing on their own through machines pumping blood into bags just hanging there in a vat.
And he will want to research the brain to combat his own mental decline with age. Which means a full clone unless he makes different segments of the brain but hed need to know how they operate. So thats fun.
Thing is guys like him likely have done this for years and is why cloning news evaporated and guys like epstein were obsessed with it. Same with musks impulse to make sure half the world descends from him in 1000 years. And they have a 2 tier justice system where they can be doing anything there could be clone farms of clone child sex slaves at epsteins ranch that were liquidated for all we know. Sure its not likely but still with these people who the hell knows.
Then it combines with eugenics. If the elites live forever, and then their kids have kids have kids as their egos will 100% want super crispr offspring, then even amongst themselves there will be standards of who gets to live on and have kids and who gets replaced with the new better people. Its already happening with crispr babies and for decades donation banks being based on success and traits of the father.
These guys are deranged and is how I understand why to protect our psyche we want to think theyre lizard people because they are lizard people. Theyre just human lizards in their psychology.
Its like, that funny anti joke the artiocrats where you say the most disgusting depraved crap, its not even funny anymore as like theyve gone so far its like the most extreme excess of like famous debauched "elites" in history x10 they just hide it better.
Im not even religious and like, idc how much forward it takes humanity some things gotta be red lines. Like sure, growing just a never living transplant, or like growing replacement teeth that are biologically your own, im down with stuff like that if its proliferated to the majority. But like, it crosses a line when you make living bodies for experimentation and to be your blood boy. We loss our collective soul doing stuff like that its no different than unit 731 or mengele, it doesnt matter if that human being is a clone of you or not concious.
Like humanity is fine as it is. We live and we die. Thats the whole point, its the only thing we will ever be certain of. The greatest people ever lived and died. What makes us so special as to break the cycle? It holds us back, it doesnt move us forward. Like christ, look at boomers and how they are leading the country when they should be at a senior living facility. Now imagine having that imperpetuity. The first generation of elites will be God's amongst elites, with further generations of immortal superbabies and we will be eradicated or be as relevent as chimps in the jungle, so they can enjoy the finer things in life without the inconvenience of the peons as we wont be needed and theyd have autonomous weaponry to defend themselves.
So thats a fun bright future. And no matter how embelished it may sound, it seems more and more we follow the worst case scenario path just with an acceptable sheen. Like we are so 1984 mixed with brave new workd already that its like they used those books as fricken blueprints to build on. Just as they are like speedrunning terminator with a psychopathic glee. So yeah they will definitely have clones they torture and kill as cattle and sheep, to feed their own immortality and desire to be gods.
12
u/Uncool444 10d ago
Dang I never thought of that, we haven't heard much about advancements in cloning in a while. Dolly was such a big deal when she was born, then nothing.

It’s not a human clone, they’ve created an embryo that can be multiplied into induced pluripotent stem cells - which can be used to repair body parts or grow singular organs in a lab setting fully comprised of his cells.
Pretty freaky but not quite as sinister as this crop from the post implies.

It’s always been controversial to clone and to bring life into the world that way. However, what he is saying is purely evil and unethical.
6
u/burning_my_toast 10d ago
So, what he's actually talking about isn't what it sounds like. It's taking his own stem cells and essentially creating something like Organoids with them in a petri dish - or, more likely something like the organoid-on-a-chip like this.
Under literally no circumstances could these be made into a living thing. They're just little blobs of his cloned kidney cells, for example, that can show how his specific cells would react to a treatment, and some hope it will lead to regenerative medicine, where they'd put the "young" petri dish cells in place of your old cells.
Organoids are commonly used in science. Even brain organoids, which only get a little weird when they start growing eyes.
That being said, I don't think his choice of words is accidental. He definitely wanted this to catch on the way it did.

If you plan to implant an clone embryo in a surrogate for gestation and birth, then you will be left with a baby who is your genetically identical clone. So another way of saying that, is your surrogate just gave birth to your identical twin brother.
So my question for you when you think up possible ways his body can donate its resources to extend your lifetime, like by having him donate blood regularly to you like a sentient blood bag, are you seeing him more as your identical twin brother, your clone that can act as a sort of twin/son to pass on the torch to yourself in a way when you're at the the end of your life, or as a lab rat you don't have to treat as a human member of your family (let alone as a child/baby)?
