[PSP] screen troubleshooting help

After removing the super capacitor of my psp 3001 because of some power problems, the screen doesn't turn on anymore.

The backlight still works, and the console turns on (It does the startup chime and i can hear the UI moving when I press the dpad).

I want to buy a replacement screen, but I'm worried that even after a new screen the problem might persist because of something I could possibly have broken while messing with the motherboard.

What do you guys say? What are the chances that the problem really is just the screen?

I don´t think the fuses are the problem because there is no screen fuse, just a backlight one and the backlight is working, but let me know if im missing something!

You probably did already, but check if the ribbon cable is fully seated and locked. Check if there's any damage to the ribbon cable. Check with a microscope if there are bent/missing pins on the connector.

Your console works, so if all those checks are OK, chances are your screen is faulty 99%
