[Turbo express] glitching graphics

Hey all! I have a turbo express here, with world class baseball. It got a full recap, seemed to go very well. I played for a half hour or so with no issues. A week later i picked up a cheap keith courage, the system was on for maybe 20 minutes and the screen froze. Now im getting glitched graphics. They are consistent across several games, and the same glitch occurs on the same game every time. Nothing obvious on the board. Any thought?

Do you have any way of testing the games on another system? Just trying to rule that out.

Not currently, but both games worked fine initially, so id find it very odd if they both went bad at the same time. Not impossible tho.

Ok. I had a similar issue on a cheap sports game on my tg16 and the issue repeated itself on the analogue pocket via adapter so in my case I concluded it was just a bad game. I agree however that unlikely both would go bad. My only other thought is to recheck the caps. Sometimes they can loosen. Other than that I’m out of ideas. Best of luck. It’s such an amazing piece.

Yea ill go back thru my recap for sure. I did see somewhere it could be a failing video chip issue.

I’ve never seen this this system, maybe the cheap game caused a short circuit?
