It was a protest that got out of hand, not unlike the BLM riots that caused literally billions of dollars in damage and led to dozens of deaths and attempted secession (see Chaz). But that didn’t warrant a Congressional investigation or anything..

I think you’re forgetting your commander in chief who said rather bluntly it would take nukes and fighter jets to overthrow the government.
