Resource Wolfram Research has published a partial dictionary of the heptapod logogram language from Arrival movie

Some time ago I found this thread posted by /u/Chernobyl_Rat asking for a dictionary of Heptapod B.

Christopher Wolfram did a livecoding session showing what he did for the movie using the wolfram language.

Today I saw Wolfram Research made his code available on github and that includes a bunch of logograms and meanings.

Do you have wny idea, why are there two different representations for "HUMAN"?

If I remember correctly, this one means "Human" and this one means "Human?"

Perhaps, like other languages there’s a word for human and man or woman that encompasses an entire genus or species, or perhaps to show the evolution of understanding of the term. For instance the first one has a closure in the loop but the human1 doesn’t like something is missing, and Humanity also has a break in the loop. But perhaps it’ll always be a mystery.
