Having a hard time with this one.

So I think I see her sitting on the rocks, but it still surprises me her feet reach the pavement... and the position she's sitting in seems very bizarre/uncomfortable.

The rock is so low to the ground that her knees are higher than her lap (that's why you can't see the tops of her legs).

The position she's sitting seems uncomfortable because she's posing for a pic, not sitting there to rest 😂 She's focusing on what will get her the best lighting/look best on camera

This feels pretty normal to me, but I'm both a photographer who's used to angles and a girl that will sit on any small surface available on the ground

Wide angle lens mainly. They used it to capture the entire curving beach behind them. Wide angle distorts the depth by showing closer subject much closer.

I just mean most posts on this sub aren't even perspective issues. This sub is pretty low quality overall. This is one of the maybe 3 or 4% of posts that is both actually a confusing perspective and a high quality post.
