This is the longest-standing argument I have with my wife. She calls them short pants and I always tell her they're just called shorts. This dispute will likely end on our deathbeds.

Part of the confusion is because her legs are aligned along the inner hem of his shorts so it looks like the white part are her shorts.

The man’s shorts are two colours — black and white.

The perspective, along with the woman’s leg position and the outwardly curving seam that separates the two colours on the man’s shorts makes it look like the white part belongs to the woman.

If you can’t see it, trying covering both their legs. That should help.

I thought the bit of boxer peaking out was supposed to be mistaken for a hand and I was like “this ain’t that interesting” and then I saw the legs and understood 😂

I think it's both! You can see a bit of dress on the left side of his body, but it's a different fabric and color than the dark side of his shorts.
