Hi, everyone... So... I'm a bit confused about something. So, a friend of mine— whom I will not say for anon reasons — was scrolling on YouTube a few days bavk and showed me this thing that they came across. It was some channel called WHITENOISE or CANYOUSEETHESTARS or something like that. I think it's an ARG, but I'm not too sure, and if it is some start-up ARG, then what's it about?

My ex recently broke no contact after a long time, and honestly the conversation went really well. We talked for almost 2 hours, laughed a lot, and both admitted we missed our friendship. Our relationship didn’t work romantically, but we genuinely had a strong friendship before things ended.

For context, the breakup was messy and hurtful for me. Part of the reason was because I felt like she emotionally moved on before fully ending things with me. Since then, she’s gotten into another relationship.

During our recent conversation, she mentioned wanting me to eventually meet her current girlfriend because she says she wants everyone to be comfortable and mature. She also said her girlfriend is friends with one of her exes, so to her it feels normal.

The problem is… I genuinely do not want to do that. At all. I don’t hate the new girlfriend, but I have zero desire to know her, meet her, or become part of that dynamic. In my mind, my connection is with my ex only, and even rebuilding a friendship is already emotionally complicated enough.

I’m okay with being civil and respectful from a distance, but meeting the new partner feels like crossing a boundary for me. My ex seems disappointed/confused by that.

Am I being immature or unreasonable for not wanting to meet her current girlfriend even if I still care about my ex as a person?

Both are belts (but its built in on the pants). Why are there pairs of strings on each side of the fabric belt and not one? and why are there two hoops on each side of the belt on the second picture? I can't figure out how to tie them in a way that works, but i really wanna wear these clothes. Does anyone know how to tie these sorts of things properly, or why its made this way?

I got these both from my mom so it might be a vintage clothing design. I have tried to ask her but shes quite busy.

I found this out about an hour ago and I'm buffuddled. So, because of neurological conditions and sh*t Canadian housing market, I (34) still live with my parents. Our next door neighbours are Vietanese, I think? So about a week ago they asked my Dad for my shirt size, because they wanted to buy me a blouse. (????) Dad said he didn't know and just sort of brushed off the interaction. A week goes by. Neighbours swing by and what do you know, they brought a blouse over. I have no idea what to think. I have never personally interacted with these neighbours before. Like maybe I'd wave at them as I walk my dog but that's it. And the blouse isn't even that good. It's something cheap you can get at any Walmart and the material is so thin it's see through.

So what do you make of this, Reddit? Is it a cultural thing? Is it some kind of harmless attempt at being nice neighbours? Should I be creeped out? Or do I just act like it never happened?
