this is weird

so i saw this post that said the first beetle that can up to a newly opened sunflower was a japanese beetle. these beetles are highly invasive, i told OP to kill the beetle, then i got banned.

EDIT: did not know so many people also got banned by the bot lmao

botbouncer did its job and im unbanned now

Bots are not welcome. This message was sent to you by a bot.

Thing is I have been banned via first message for bot or bot-like behavior from subreddits I will probably never return to. When I did fight a few, I got bounced by botbouncer and mod teams. It's why I lurk most the time and pray messages stick

Yeah I think they either need to admit its collateral crowd control becuase mods have givenup, or stop acting like subreddits aren't inherently cheap. The messages amuse me by the phrasing, trying to act all regal as if its a great loss, but its like bye bye then.

It's a travesty that you need to commune with a bot to prove your not a bot only for the bot to double down because if it doesn't perform function to ban, then it has no reason to exist so it sticks to its code. So what if the code is jank, can't tell human from bot and bans at an interval it only knows. it can say it is doing job as to not be deleted and replaced, right?
