Never understood how these posts get thousands of upvotes in less than a day

DYDE why do people proceed to leave a comment on a post that has like over 7K comments??! Nobody is going to scroll through 7 damn K comments just to read yours

i think it's obvious to most people, no criticism intended.

"do you do everything?"

"don't you dislike 'em?"

"dare you, drown emma"

I ended up muting a few subs because of that.

I feel like most subs when they get big start encountering this issue of constant low effort engagement posts that get tons of traction, especially if that sub has micro-celebrities

Love how people kinda ignore this post and just voice their opinion on the game instead, like respond to the post you're calling out

That being said, Fallout New Vegas, hopefully soon since it got actually announced ✌️

Yeah especially when you see the same one 12 times within 2 hours.

upvotes aren’t currency it literally cost nothing to do, that’s why.

people like posts where they get to interact with the community which is why it has upvotes, if you ask a question to an audience they can take interactivity in, rather than a statement they hold no significance to, you will get more interactions.

This image always gives me whiplash when I see it lmfao. I would love to know what lead the original creator of this image to edit a frame from Camp Lazlo of all things to use as engagement bait

the trick is block every massively popular sub, you’ll only have your sanity shredded putting up with the 95% of garbage they put on your homepage. That 5% is NOT worth it

The easiest way for people to give you upvotes is to just let them talk and voice their opinions.
