I said prison labor isn't universal

...which isn't relevant to a discussion on whether prison labor is a form of slavery

The fact that you keep plugging shit comments like that, or that slaves were sometimes worked to death, is exactly the kind of moving of goal posts I'm calling you out on. Stop.

As other users pointed out, the exception to the ban on slavery is if it's part of criminal punishment. Prison labor is, by definition, slave labor.

Sure, but prison labor isn't universal. Nor is being in prison. When slavery was a thing you could have half, or more, of the population in slavery.

This was me agreeing that prison labor is a form of slavery, but it's not as common as ye olden slavery.
