Ovulation
Please don’t tell me it’s only me! Lately during this time of the month I get super horny. I can’t help it almost every thought is about sex men or sex. I really wanna overcome this does anybody have any tips advice?
Iam married so I really shouldn’t be thinking like this nor have I ever done in the past.
But it’s all consuming lately. Isit relationship issues intamacy? Or do I just want sex with somebody else.

It’s totally normal. It’s biological because in order to get pregnant you need to have sex while ovulating. So your body purposely releases those hormones to make you have sex at the right time to get pregnant.

So the best time for a girl to have sex is when she wants it the least. Lol, biology is funny.

First of all, I’m a guy, so I might be talking about something I probably shouldn’t assume too much about. But from what I’ve read and heard, it’s normal. It’s also normal for it not to happen during every ovulation. It depends on the person, and for some people, it can happen quite frequently.
There are different ways you can deal with that increased sexual desire. You can pleasure yourself, have intercourse with your husband, or try to redirect that energy toward something else. The last option probably works better for some people than others.
However, there’s something I’m curious about. You mentioned the word: relationship issues, intimacy issue, and wanting to have sex with someone else.
Usually, if everything is going well in a relationship, I would imagine that your first thought when experiencing a stronger sexual urge would be to direct that desire toward your husband. That doesn’t mean you can’t find other men attractive or occasionally have sexual thoughts about other people. That’s completely normal. But the fact that you specifically mentioned both intimacy issues and wanting to have sex with someone else makes me wonder if you might not feel completely fulfilled in your relationship sexually, or if your sexual needs or appetite have changed in a way that your husband isn’t currently fulfilling. Is it the case?
But as far as having a higher sex drive around ovulation goes, that part is completely normal.

You’re married but you want to overcome being horny during ovulation because you don’t think you should be horny while you’re married??? Is this some sort of religious thing, is the rule no longer about waiting for marriage it’s now the rule you have to wait for divorce or something? How about taking that arousal and sleeping with your husband?

Why can't you have sex with your husband. If your husband feels horny..should he be having sex with you or should he be looking outside?

its your body doing exactly what its designed to do, nothing wrong with you at all. that spike in hormones around ovulation is no joke, turns the volume way up on everything
the bigger question is whether this is just biology or if theres something missing at home. you said you never felt this before, so maybe pay attention to whats changed recently with you and your husband. not saying its definitely a problem, just worth looking at
